Rex took each strike to the skull and continued to laugh. As his sister's pounding on the mat started to become louder and more rapid, Rex started to push himself up, the cobwebs the blows to the head caused were starting to clearing rather quickly.

Trent was confused as to what was going on. The laughing, and the shouting, and now Rex was getting up like nothing. He had to keep Rex under, so he sent some boots into the direction of the face of Rex. Anything to bring him back down or slow the process!

Rex took the boots to the face and while they were able to send him to the mat, they did not stop the laughter. "Try all you might, Trenton. You can not keep the Serpent down."

Trent can see why this guy could take out Erynys now. But faltering would only make the situation worse. Trent would back up and try to deliver a superkick to Rex to finally throw the big man off and hopefully away.

Rex managed to get most of the way up before a superkick was thrown at his face. The blow connected and Rex staggered back, falling against the ropes and leaning here to shake loose his thoughts as his sister's pounding continued. Her rhythmic pounding was joined by chanting as a trio of his cultist's appeared in the crowd, leaning against the barricade.

Trent was not aware of what was going on outside the ring. All he knew was that he had hit one of his most decisive strikes that he had in his arsenal and the big man still did not collapse.
Following up the superkick, Trent looked to hit another superkick against the big man who was leaning on the ropes. Do whatever it takes while he has the time and positioning to do so!

Rex took the kick. As the blow connected, he flipped up and over the top rope, landing on his feet on the ground outside where he staggered back and dropped to a knee against the barricade near his chanting followers.

Trent would drop to his knees against the ropes in disbelief. Another huge superkick finisher and the man even was sent over the top rope. But yet, he did not fall. What the hell was this guy made out of!?

Rex stayed on his knee for a moment, rubbing his jaw and glancing up at his cultists at ringside. Slowly he stood and looked at his followers. Without a word, he made a couple of small gestures before turning his attention back to Trent with a fury in his eyes. He would march to the ring and reach under to bottom rope to attempt to grab Trent by the legs and drag him out to the outside. If he managed to drag Trent to the floor with him, he would try to immediately try to whip him hard against the barricade.

Not only did he take two of Trent's cleanest superkicks, but he now would go on the offensive. Literally getting his legs sweeped from under him, Trent would get dragged to the outside by Rex and thrown hard at the barricade!

"The Serpent has seen your work. And it is impressed. But now, it demands you be tested..." Rex would proclaim to Trent before attempting to deliver a measured, hard right to the side of his skull. If the blow connected, he would seek to deliver another.

Serpent?
Trent would try to finding meaning in what Rex had just said. But mere moments after Rex spoke, Trent had the side of his skull impacted with heavy strikes. The first one knocking the smaller man backwards, while the second would lead to the man beginning to collapse against the barricade.

Rex would see Trent start to collapse and then try to grab him by the skull and bring him back to a full standing position. If he managed it, he would immediately try to cave in Trent's chest with a vicious chop.

From the reaction of the crowd, you would think that every one of them had just received a vicious chop to their chest. But no, Trent would bear it for them as the sound would be a vicious reminder of what Rex was capable of doing.
Trent would turn, collapsing against the barricade with his ribs rubbing against the barricade.

Rex looked out at the crowd and gesture toward Trent with a new wicked grin. He thought about turning Trent and nailing him with a headbutt but despite being on his feet and on the offensive after the superkicks, he could still feel the rattle of them in his skull. So instead, Rex would fold his hands together and attempt to deliver a clubbing axe-handle blow to Trent's back.
