Seeing how much Cernunnos was enjoying the strawberries Lysanna realized that she would probably not be taking any home with her. It seemed wrong somehow to deprive this senshi the chance to enjoy something that he clearly was getting an acquired taste for. At least, that is what it looked like to her own observations as yet another strawberry disappeared from the pile. Her gaze turned contemplative as this Cernunnos schooled her on how the two questions she had asked were essentially the same thing before she frowned.
At least Cernunnos deigned to give her the answer she desired anyway. So he had been on his home world. She didn't know much about the senshi that inhabited Earth but it almost sounded like they generally awoke here ... not on some distant world. Was this something to take note of, something that she could use to report back to the Commodore? Could it give hope to the rest of her race on their little synthetic world? Figuring that more information would be needed did Lysanna take note of the other name that Cernunnos had provided her with before clucking softly at the revelation that not many others had called him by his use name.
"If you allowed it, I would very much like to address you as Wisteria. If you would consider me a friend later down the road that is. I think it's strange, your origins on how you came to Earth. I won't be offended if you prefer I not use your use name. In the meantime though, have the rest of the strawberries. You seem to enjoy them," and the silent thought that went through her mind was something like, I can't take them away now.
Lysanna sighed. Cernunnos obviously wasn't too trusting of anyone yet and even as she slipped her gardening gloves back on did she quietly go back to pulling out the plants that were ready for harvesting. If the other wanted to slip away while she was busy, she wouldn't begrudge the action ... gardening allowed her to focus her thoughts as she worked, to gain clarity, but sometimes in those moments the world around her seemed to disappear.
"I'm here a little bit longer to finish up what I came to do if you want to ask me questions but I don't mind if you decide to leave."

The senshi shrugged as he watched her go back to her 'harvesting'. He absently kept up his own work on the pile of little fruits, each disappearing into his mouth. It eased the ever-present hunger, and even if he didn't say as much, he was grateful for it. Food was so hard to find when you spent most of your time hiding from the strangers on this strange world.
"You can call me whatever you like. Cernunnos was just more common back on my world because it was my title and everyone who came to see me used that out of like, respect and stuff. I had a couple of caretakers who used Wisteria, when we were alone." He couldn't comment on whether they would be friends, but having provided him with food, she was definitely firmly in his good graces now. "But you're not a petitioner and I'm not in a temple, so I don't think there is anyone who's going to care if you use my name rather than my title."
It was weird to think that the old priests would have positively exploded if anyone had used his use-name in public. Most of them had been sticklers about it. The few that had relaxed enough, in the private of his own garden, to call him Wisteria... those were fond memories. He wondered then, what had happened to them. He remembered going to sleep when people had started going weird, but it was hard to tell just how long that had been. He didn't remember seeing anyone for the brief time he'd been awake before being teleported here.
"How did you get here?" He asked suddenly, the thought occurring to him. Same way he had, or some other way? Had it just been him that had been pulled here? Her prescence seemed to say no.

There was something about Cernunnos's statement that she could use his name rather than his title that lit a bit of a glow inside Lysanna. If this senshi was allowing her, basically a stranger, to address him just a little more informally than most then she'd take up the chance to do so. But it wouldn't be today. If there was a time that they saw each other again in the future then she would consider the permission to do so.
Hearing the question that the senshi posed of her had Lysanna biting her tongue before she looked down at the ground. Her hands stilled before they resumed pulling at a new target. Once the vegetable had been removed from the earth did she set it to the side. The presence of the Vanguard wasn't exactly a secret anymore but she hadn't come with the original group. That she had a bit of a different arrival didn't seem to matter, and yet, deep down - maybe it did.
But there was something that spoke of needing to return Cernunnos's honesty with some of her own and that was what decided the factor. She'd be as open with this senshi as she could - but there would be some information that wasn't hers to share.
"I was given a choice to be sent here by those that thought it would be better for me. It was the better of the two options that I had to choose from. I know, it's not a lot to go on. I think I can safely admit that I'm not the only one of my species here on Earth. We came here hoping to gather information that would save our own world so that we could return home one day. I've not been here as long as some of the original group has but we are all looking for solutions."

Her response left him feeling... disappointed, and lonely.
She had others of her kind here. She said they'd come here looking for help, which was different that just appearing here one day, out of the blue. There were no others of Cernunnos' people here, that he knew of, and he hadn't, truly, had a choice about coming here, even if here seemed marginally better than his world and the strange happenings. She could, presumably, return home whenever she wanted, and he wasn't sure if he could... he had no idea how. Maybe her people would know?
It made his stomach turn, a little, and what appetite he'd had disappeared. He set the berry he'd been holding down and rubbed the back of his hand across his mouth.
"So I guess you have family and stuff?" He said finally, rocking back on his heels as he crouched beside her. "Or at least other people. That's lucky. I've been all alone since I got here, and I hate it. I miss home. I miss seeing people who look like me, and eating food I recognize. Not that your berries weren't good. They're just not stuff I'm used to."
She'd get to go back and join those people when she got done here, while he'd have to go find a bush to sleep under again, alone. This whole conversation was really dragging his mood down, and that was as much something he wasn't used to as anything else in this strange place.
Bouncing to his feet, he brushed his thighs off and shook his head, fluffing his hair and ears.
"I should go. Thanks for the food. Maybe I'll see you around again sometime. I can come here and check for you, when I'm not busy." Not that he was ever really busy. What was there to do, other than scrounge for food and try to stay hidden. He tried to put on a smile for her, though it lacked the brightness it had had before.
