She gripped his hand back as they backed away from the tree. She was hopeful that It had gone well. She had never prayed to Aisha quite that way before. And she hoped she had gotten it right. She smiled back tremulously, it had been a very emotional encounter and she paused to wipe tears from her eyes. That a child may just be on the way in the meantime, the thought filled her with joy but for now she would enjoy each moment with her mate. They had much cuddling to do now, cuddling and waiting with baited breath for news to come from the tree. They thanked the sisters and made a large gift of fruit to the attendants in thanks for the opportunity. They were sent off with waves and smiles, goodwill all around. She took a deep breath feeling excited and rejuvenated. So few things caused really large emotional responses. When onr got older, that she wasn't sure she had been quite prepared for it. She was still crying slightly, good tears. Good tears were okay. She wondered if prospective earthling mothers also felt this weird cascade of emotions.

They spent the night in a nearby Inn that was surprisingly, extremely comfortable. He was helping her with her hair, he liked to wash it for her because she nearly fell asleep every time he massage her scalp. She needed all the relaxation he could wrestle for her. It had been a long and wonderfully eventful day, but now it was time to unwind for the journey home. They would head for their Jauharan home tomorrow. Neither of them had felt like starting out too late for a longish journey, not with the emotional upheaval of the Aisha prayer ceremony. He felt like he was full of lightning and sea squalls himself with all of the wonder. He hoped he would at least sleep tonight.
She was snoring lightly by the time he was done with her wild massive hair. She was wrapped up now in bedding with the towel on her head and looked about ready to be dreaming. He crawled into the bed and kissed her full on the lips. "Goodnight my love, who did magnificently." Then he curled up with his head on her shoulder his arm over her torso and sought those dreams himself. They kept each other safe and warm in that new environment.

She was so relaxed after bathing and Kellye tending to her hair that she felt like overdone pasta. She smiled as he tucked himself into her side, they traded spots for this most comfortable position all the time. They were big cuddlebugs something that she had not initially expected from him but couldn't get enough of. It was a big part of their bedtime and wake up routines cuddling made the outlook better always. It reasserted that neither of them had to be alone anymore if they didn't want to be and even when apart both could feel the magnetic pull of their mate, no matter how many miles lay between them. Now that they were in their regular sleep position, she heaved a great big sigh and let the rest of her cares just drift away on the wet warm nighttime breeze. The homely sounds of deeper jungle night birds drifted on the thick humid air, that smelled like home, it sounded like home and it felt like home with him there. They drifted off to sleep.

Their journey home was swift and unfettered. It was good to be back on familiar ground, though he had greatly enjoyed the adventure. He took Zuella for a walk on the beach of the small lake by their house. It was romanticized. They didn't feel the need at the moment to say anything. All had been said and they were just riding the heavy vibe of the moment. The moon showed her silver face and reflected her image on the water. "It seems we have the goddess Serin interested in our affairs. Hmm. " He poked her playfully in the rib. Two goddesses in as many days, you are such a celebrity." Their feet crunched on the ground. The gravel ground as he drew her tall frame into his arms and began to slow dance there in the silver lit darkness. His warrior woman was a fantastic dancer, so he made sure that she got to do it once in a while. They spun around and around, as long as the long night was. When dawn broke they broke apart, but stayed close holding hands.

She snorted at his celebratory comment, what drivel. She was just a very lucky girl who, however, could occasionally be a cornball, which aligned nicely with her own goofy sense of humor. He pulled her neatly into a dance and automatically her body was pulled into rhythym with his, it was very soothing. They danced on into the night and break of dawn, before he led her away from their shoreline dance floor and back to warm blankets fort he rest of the morning. They would likely celebrate tomorrow to acknowledge that the prayer had been made after that, it was very much a waiting game to see if their long prayer had been heard. Aisha did what she did for her own reasons. She was all knowing and if they were not meant to have children, well that would be enough for her. If this prayer didn't work they could try again, if that didn't work she was sure that there were kids out there somewhere that needed a home. She didn't think with Kellye's past that he would be opposed to adopting, it would keep kids like he had been off the streets and away from crime.
But these would be kids of their very own, if only Aisha had heard her.
