The arena's jubilation was short-lived as Cartwright started stomping on Salem angrily, those in the stands booing loudly as Croft rolled to the cables to try and force the referee to break it up!

Salem positions himself in the ropes, ruining Cartwright's fun as the referee gets in his way to give Salem some space.
But this doesn't stop Cartwright from having a run-up, as he looks to kick Salem back out of the ring towards the Cartwright Strong Style cage!

Salem was trying to pull himself up by the middle rope, and he used that to his advantage as Cartwright came running in for a kick, hanging his weight down and dropping low to try and cause the British b*****d to tumble through the gap!

AAAHHH!
Cartwright slips through the ropes and crashes in to his teams cage, who decide not to hit the boss with canes, fortunately for him!
Cartwright nurses his shoulder that met the cage for a moment, daring Salem to approach!

Salem ducked out through the ropes after the wounded Cartwright, taking advantage of his tumble by looking to snatch an ankle and drag him towards Apex's cage!

Cartwright chooses to grab hold of the bars around Cartwright Strong Style, which also allows them the chance to aim at Salem with their cane's!
JR: "The Boss isn't really trying tonight is he?!"
King: "He doesn't need to!

Salem had Cartwright by the ankle, but his allies had other intent, trying to jab at him with the canes again! Thinking fast, "Showtime" would drop to the ground and wrap his legs around Cart's thigh, wrenching in a Savage ankle lock while trying to avoid the thrusting canes!

Cartwright begins to groan in pain as his ankle gets twisted-up, his team seemingly having a struggle to find Salem!
Cartwright steals a cane from The Butler and looks to smack it across Salem's skull!

Salem was eyeing Cartwright trying to grab a cane from his servant, and started to roll to both twist the Brit's ankle harder and also avoid the incoming swing, showing shades of his patented Anaconda Coil in attempt to twist "The Gentleman" towards the Apex cage!

It begins to look like Cartwright's grasp on his cage is loosening, but then the giant Omen grabs Cartwright's hands to keep him locked into position, allowing Cartwright another aim with his cane towards Salem's crane....ium!

Salem was struck in the head by the cane, letting go and rolling towards his allied cage to get out of range as he clutched his skull!

Cartwright hops on his good foot for a moment, stretching his other leg out to ease the pain Salem had dealt to it.
It seems the two are at a stalemate, as Cartwright refuses to move from his teams cage while Salem stands at his Apex cage.
Cartwright decides to slide in to the ring, hiding his cane behind his back.
JR: "Is it legal for Cartwright to use the cane?"
King: "Of course it is if everyone at ringside can have one!
Even if it isn't, he's The Boss!
You can go and tell him he should be disqualified, JR!"

Salem caught his breath a moment, slipping back in the ring after Cartwright, himself and the crowd aware of his concealed weapon but the referee oblivious to the boss's ill intent!

Cartwright begins to talk trash at Salem while the crowds boos grow for someone entering the arena.
It appears that not all of Cartwright Strong Style have been caged, as Staff Member Russo rushes towards the ring.
The referee sees Staff Member Russo climb on to the ring apron, shouting BRO every second.
As the referee walks towards Staff Member Russo to stop him entering, Cartwright swings his cane towards Salem Croft, one more shot should do the job!
