The cold was something he didn't really mind, not anymore at least. He had gotten used to the numbness that the cold left on him and preferred it over the normal aches and pains, even if the aftermath of warming up was uncomfortable.
"I think that is a good idea, just let me gather some things before we head out alright?" Taking the hint from Melody, he got up and started to gather a small box of treats to bring home to his partner. He would wait for them to finish talking before they would all head out. Offering smiles to the children who were sneaking treats from the table, he really could get used to this kind of environment. It was so much more welcoming and warm than anything he had felt from his own family in a long while.
Smiling and offering a polite little wave to her brother as he stepped away, she turned back to Alexandre. "Yes, I would very much enjoy that. Both things of course. We parked just a bit away, not terribly far. We can talk more about things later as well." Getting up, she pulled her small bag with her and grabbed a few small treats for the road. They all tasted amazing, even if she wasn't one for treats most of the time. Waving to the children, she wished them a good night before grabbing her coat and scarf. She'd have to break out something warmer here soon if the weather report was to be believed.
After that, she waited near the door as he brother finished up. She couldn't help but laugh a little at the pile of snacks he had grabbed for Liam. It made her wonder where all the calories went in that man because she knew Aloy cooked things that were extremely dense in calories. It wasn't something she would bring up though but she would wonder all the same.
