Nodding along she felt a bit better about some of her own hangups. She had seen the family, in bits over the years. They always congregated together from what she had noticed. “Thank you for this Alexandre.” It felt like a nice end to what had started off as a less-than-productive night when she had left her brother’s home.
“I think it would be better if they knew if there was to be any chance of getting close in that way. It would be a fairer shot maybe for love maybe, even if the chances are low. They would understand why things are the way they are with me at times.” If she didn’t have to put up a wall for that, it might make it easier for her to let someone in. She didn’t want to place any bets though. Feeling a buzz in her pocket, she waited to see if it would buzz more to denote it being a call. When it didn’t she looked up at the clock and realized the time.
“But with all this, I do need to head back home. Thank you for the chat and the tea, it helped a lot.” She smiled as she moved to get up. She would message Liam later to see what the state of her brother was and would apologize accordingly. Not to Aloysius, not yet, but to Liam.

“I can do my best, I make no promises, but this is my family and I would like things to work out for the best.” Because he was loyal to his family, that’s why he’d joined the Negaverse all that time ago. He fought for his family because he didn’t trust anyone else to fight for them, to do the job right and to fight for them.
“I think, given your loyalty to family, you’d do well as an Evans. I’m sure you have your own reasons for wanting in, I’ve no doubt about that, but I also know you won’t risk the family name and you understand duty.” Standing slowly, as she did, he held out a hand. “I’ll do what I can to assist in your plans.” Because it would benefit his family. She would need to do some of the work also, especially seeing and speaking to his grandmother.
“Let me know when you want to go out for training or energy gathering. I’ll work with you on that.”

Taking his hand, she shook on it. “Thank you for trusting me on this and for your assistance.” Thinking for a moment about her quota and how she was working on a few things on the side for infiltration. “I think I would quite like that, just remember to bring your earplugs. I wouldn’t want to deafen you.” Tightening her grip on his hand as she leaned in close. “We still need to rid this city of that b***h who burned me as well.” With that, she turned and gathered her coat and shoes from where they always went in this house.
“Have a good night Alexandre~” Waving as she left through the front door, she made an excited sound after the door was shut behind her.
