Realta tried to keep herself from laughing, but nodded to his deduction as to his source of power. "I would presume so--I do not know your name or power source--called a sphere or sphere of influence--but you were able to tell your power comes from a celestial body called Totoro, and what your power is from. Totoro, Chibi Senshi of Raccoons."
It was rather adorable, though she'd not yet seen a senshi in a sort of... onesie like this, yet. Perhaps it was more of a chibi thing..? Only time would tell.
The Star Wars reference was amusing to her and she nodded, and again she nodded, if a bit more sternly, as he compared the secret identity to Batman and Superman. "Exactly. Unfortunately, just as there are people who would hurt Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent, or the people close to them, if they knew they were Batman and Superman... there are people who would likely do the same if they knew you, Taki, were Totoro."
She tilted her head somewhat, though, ears flicking. "But in the same sense, there are people who, like the Justice League, will be happy to help you, fight alongside you, and keep that information safe, if you decide to share it with them." He would have friends in Order--Realta would make sure of it, people he could trust and reach out to for help.
The question of his mother, though... the Mauvian let out a soft sigh through her nose. A smart, reasonable question. "I'm unsure. I would suspect she would worry more... but I know all good parents would be, in this situation. You can tell her, and if you'd like, I can be with you during that and try to help you. I can look like a human for a few hours--no ears or tail--if you think that might also help." It was the least she could do, given her role in awakening him. Try to help explain things to both of them, help them both to the best of her abilities and keep both safe...
Already, she was considering a few senshi and knights she knew to connect him with.

Totoro was listening as Realta was talking about space and that his power was from raccoons. He grinned as she seemed amused by the references he was offering and nodding when she spoke about people who'd want to hurt Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, he knew she was right. He sighed softly, "It's going to be hard not to talk about it but I'd rather not be hurt or get my mom hurt."
There was a pause when she said there were people he could join up with like the Justice League and he smiled, "Awesome! Having people to talk to and help would be neat, I guess I'd start out more like Robin than Batman."
There was a pause when Realta mentioned his mother might worry more, he was looking thoughtful, "Maybe for now I'll keep it from her, wait until I'm older to tell her. Or at least until I know more."

"It's up to you," she said gently, aware of the weight of his situation. "She would worry, but she also might be able to help you and keep herself safe if she understands what is going on. There's upsides and downsides to all options, so I understand if you want to take time to think things over."
She was not about to advocate for a child to lie to his mother.... but she knew many senshi who neglected to inform loved ones about the perils in their lives.
As she considered contacts, though, she held up her hand, focusing her magic to summon forth... a phone for him. It was fully updated, at least, after she took a quick moment to fiddle with it herself, confirming everything was working properly before handing it towards Totoro.
"And this is also yours. A senshi phone. You can use it to keep in contact with others who are powered like you are, take photos, read up on information we have in a Database--there's a lot to learn, but take your time. Focus on your safety, and learning how to use your magic."
She wasn't even going to begin to discussing homeworlds and the like for the moment... he already had a lot to deal with.
Removing the bag that now hung from her neck as a simple necklace, Realta paused to place some of the small toys on a nearby grave, smile soft to the faded name. "May you rest ever in peace," she murmured, even if a part of her wondered if the person's starseed was already reincarnated...
To Totoro, she said, "When you're ready to power down, you just need to focus on your usual self, and the magic will pull away. I'm happy to discuss things more, if you have questions?" She was sure there were many, but she didn't want to overwhelm him more than she already had.
Her form shimmered, though, and the woman faded back into the form of the lilac Savannah cat. "I'll accompany you, if you're alright with that, till you're home either way. I can't stay in my other form, though, or I might draw too much attention with my aura."

Totoro nodded as he listened to Realta talk about thinking things over and how it might help if his mother knew and help keep her safe. He seemed curious, but would think on it later.
He watched as she summoned a phone and handed it to him, he was looking at it fascinated "Oh this is neat!" He was thumbing through it looking at different bits. "Thank you!"
He watched as Realta pulled the bag from her neck and placed the toys at a grave and offering words of solace. He nodded when she turned back to him talking about powering down and he did so closing his eyes and letting himself fade back to his civilian guise.
He paused thinking about if he had any questions, "Well . . . not at the moment I don't think . . . I can always find you and ask right?"
"Oh that'll be awesome! Then you can come visit when you want, I'm sure mom won't mind having a guest sometimes. Even if you have to be a cat for it." He watched her change back from a human to a cat and was still star struck, "Well then lets go! I think there's still some homemade cookies at home if you want we could snack on before you take off after we get there!" He offered as he started to lead the way.

"Any time--I've already added my contact information into your phone, so you're able to call or text me, too, whenever you wish."
The cat stood and stretched slightly, tail swaying peacefully as she moved forward to walk alongside him. One of her ears gave an extra flick. "Hm... I'll never say no to homemade food," she hummed, rather delighted by how well he was taking the information thus far--he was young, and she didn't expect him to process everything so quickly, but that's what guardians were for. To help teach, to guide to the best of their ability.... and make sure their senshi had people and places to turn to for help.
It was the least she could do to look after him in this, given she'd awakened him into... all of this...
