Owaen gave the woman a puzzled look when she mentioned that the Janarim was a working animal and that this work would help keep it calmer. Though would it really? He would think that it would put more stress on the beast then anything else. But he merely gave a mental shrug as he watched her deftly hitch the wagon up to the Janarim and started moving.
"If you are sure." He was still on the fence about the whole thing, but it seemed that the wagon wasn't going to be that big of a problem.
"I will make sure that the cook has something special for your companion and a warm place to rest." He knew of the stables that were for housing large beasts that some people brought with them. Not that it was overly used, a lot of people just traveling by foot or steam contraptions. Not too many large beasts around for pulling carts.
The walk was a bit of a long wet one. Pushing against the blustery winds that started passing through the streets. Owaen covered his face with his arms in an attempt to to shield his face. Did he really have to get these things today? Surely they could have really waited. Shaking his head, his fiery orange hair clung to his face as he peered through the rain as the tavern loomed closer.
"There's the tavern, the Averin's Roost." He pointed towards the winging sign with the Tavern's name on it.
"Have to pull it into the side alley, it will be a little drier and it leads to the stables." He headed in the direction of the alley that he had ran out of earlier. It looked narrow, but it was big enough to pull almost two carts in side by side.
