“In certain situations its nice but in others there were times when i wanted a play mate growing up. So being an only child has its own pros and cons to it. But, overall I don’t have any major complaints about it” he explained before taking a breath and diving under to get his hair wet.
After a bit he resurfaced and ran his fingers through his damp hair and treaded some water “what else do you enjoy?” He asked her.

“I see where that would have sucked.” She had never wanted for a playmate it was easy to find a sibling or cousin to enjoy and she got to do cool group things as well. “That would get pretty lonely. She was fascinated with his pale skin that faded so neatly to blue. “Do you sunburn at all?” She didnt but she knew some of the fairer wild folk could.
She dipped her head back to wet her hair, she would dive in a moment but she was busy talking. “My big career passion is dancing, its like painting with your body and movement. There is a really cool dance style that has to do with a spear and its dual purpose because it helps teach you how to use said spear that way in times of fear I wont be as defenseless as someone who didnt train with ine, though I would still not be as good as a pure warrior. I went to s dance studio recently it was fun!”

He listened to her speak attentively and nodded his head every once in awhile to show he was listening to her speak. “Then you are lucky to have close family to keep you company.” He said and tilted his head to think about it “that is a good question, i am not sure mainly cause i haven’t been out for long periods” he said.
“I’m sure you would be a beautiful and graceful defensive dancer. I want to be able to tame beasts and i love the water so it works out for me” he answered.

“I am very lucky, they are the best, even my exceptionally scary cousin.” She giggled thinking of Kechiri. She was very fond of her very fiery cousin, who was a small carbon copy of her father with the odd trait from her Morhter. Kechiri had a lot of character for one so small.
“Most of my family are beast tamers, Dad, Thal, Ushiwa, Tethys and Aunty Nin and Uncle Kiyelt. If you need help with anything I could definitely put a good word in for you, there are always ways to help with the critters.” She beamed at him.

He nodded his head agreeing with her “i will keep that in mind; if i do need any advice on beast taming i will be sure to let you know” he told her, not entirely sure how he would keep in contact with her.
He took one last dive into the water and resurfaced, excess water dripped from his damp hair. The day overall was a pretty good and he got to meet someone new, so it was a productive day.

She dove too and had a peak at the cool underwater critters including a small spotted fish that liked to hang around her. She figured someone had been feeding the little fellow or there mught be a bugger fish nearby that looked at him like he was food either way she was flattered for the attention. She rose from the deep and paddled idly back to land. It was always nice to go for a swim. “What do you want to do next?” She liked having someone to ask that question to. It was much more fun then trying to figure it out herself.

He swam back the shore and tilted his head to the side throughtfully before answering “mmm…we could do a beach picnic or see if there is a beach market somewhere and go window shop” he told her thinking about it. He wasn’t all too sure about what else they could do to take advantage of the nice day.
He tapped his chin thoughtfully what activities could they do on a nice day. Perhaps fishing maybe but he did not have that much experience with fishing, they had already gone for a swim. They could go for ice cream which was another option, he racked his brain to figure out what other things they could do. He had never spent a full day with anyone other than his mom.

"Hmm a picnic sounds good, we will have to go to the market stalls and find some food because I didn't bring much more than tea with me." She hadn't been planning on spending the whole day at the beach but she was not opposed to it, she didn't have much else to do at the moment and she was greatly enjoying Huang's company. "There are a few really good stands that are usually up and running if you want to come check them out with me?" She did love some of the beach food that was abundant on Matori's resplendent coastlines. Food was a love language for her.

He nodded his head agreeing with her “that we will; mainly because i wasn’t expecting to go on a picnic today so im very unprepared but its a nice surprise that you want to do a picnic with me” he told her with a light chuckle.
He nodded his head at her offer to go look at some vendors at the market “i would love to go look at the stalls with you” he told her happily.
“Window shopping is always fun; and on the rare occasion you are lucky you end up finding something you like and buying it for yourself” he told her perhaps he would be lucky today and find something to buy either for himself or for her to remember their first meeting.

She was very pleased that he liked to do similar things. “Sounds great! I could go for some kebabs and some local sushi, is there anything thats a particular favorite for you?”
She was so pleased that if nothing else she had at least made a great new friend today, she had a talent for collecting new friends.
“Gosh I am so excited!” She grinned at him brightly. “If you are done with your tea we can go?”

He nodded his head as he finished up his tea and handed the cup back to Tahnee. He tilted his head to the side thoughtfully. “I could go some sushi and some grilled fish” he said to her before standing up and brushing the sand off himself.
He extended out his hand and help her up to her feet. “I’m ready when you are” he told her with a smile.

They walked over to the market and she marvelled at the difference that having a friend made. She could get his opinion on things and that just made it more fun! First order of business was food because one should never shop on an empty stomach. She ordered what she wanted and waited patiently for him while munching slowly. She was in a word more than starving but fortunately Matoris food stall vendors never disapointed unless perhaps there was a hurricane then they might close up.

He followed her to the Matori market and found a grilled fish stall before ordering one and then stopping at a local sushi vendor. He had to admit though it was his first time trying Matori sushi and he was wondering if it tasted good or not.
He hummed as he waited for his orders to be filled. He looked around to see if there was a vendor that sold some refreshments; it was a hot day and a cold refreshing drink would hit the right spot. Once he had retrieved is grilled fish order and sushi order he dug into his grilled fish chewing thoughtfully.

Tahnee grinned at the pensive look on his face as he enjoyed his meal. "Its different isn't it? From wherever you come from?" She was a curious creature by nature and she only had one mean bone in her body and that was the one that protected her family fiercely, something common to her tribe as it now seemed as her family was so large between her mom and her aunt.
She munched her food with passion and vigor. She loved to eat, especially when the food was so well crafted. She did a lot of the cooking in her family.
"Do you know how to cook yet? My mom taught me early, she said I always liked to help."
She adored her whole family but then she was a creature of light and butterflies.

He nodded his head “it definitely is different, can’t say I’ve ever had sushi from Matori” he told her as he chewed thoughtfully some more. To be honest he didn’t even know that Matori had sushi, but then again he didn’t travel to Matori very often, he was mostly in and around the Sauti region with his parents. He was glad though he had decided to make the trip to Matori though to get more exposure.
“I can’t say I do, at this moment in time. My mom usually did the cooking in the house” he replied. Though at his age he probably should consider cooking his own food, if his memory served him right home cooked meals always tasted better then food you bought outside the home or in a restaurant. He hummed thoughtfully again before taking another piece of sushi and popping it into his mouth.
