Hiro would scramble to his knees, over to the ropes using them to support his balance. He had moved so quickly to get out of that vice and away, it was almost as if he was actually trying to escape a true snake. His chest would expand with and release air in a steady rhythm for a moment or two before he would try to push himself back up to his feet -- hoping he'd find a standing Nuke as well as he fought to get his eye-sight back. If both men found themselves standing, Hiro would stomp towards his friend and try to crack him in the side of the head with a stiff forearm! The Ethnic Enigma had made a habit of getting into strike fights in the middle of the ring since he returned from his retirement, and it seemed like we were on the verge of yet another one.

Nuke's receipt was stronger than Hiro's initial shot, perhaps even a bit more stiff. Hiro kept his feet planter and squeezed his eyes tightly shut, trying to swallow down the feeling of nausea that came from his brain rattling around. Through the dizzying forever he aimed a sharp, knife-edge chop right at the chest of Nuke in an attempt to light it up and continue their ever evolving slugfest playing out at center ring, the ref shying away with every hit as even he was disgusted by the amount of pain these two were putting each other through early on.

"You crazy b*****d." Hiro said with a slight smile as he looked down and shook his head, Nuke asking for another hit. Hiro had put a lot behind the stinging chop, hoping it would buy him a few extra seconds of healing time...and in a way, it looks like it did. The Ethnic Enigma shook his head and readied his hand, pulling it back and then slamming it once again against Nuke's chest with a thunderous clap that reverberated along the crowd, up the walls and to the ceiling of the arena in Hoboken. The crowd's "WOOOOO!" couldn't have done that shot justice as it was one of the loudest chops anyone had heard in quite some time, and it also caused Hiro a great deal of pain in his left hand. He knew he'd probably in for a lot of his own pain as common wrestling courtesy meant he would without a doubt feel Nuke's reaction in moments.

Hiro was happy to see Nuke drops to his knees, but then realized it was merely so he could hit him again -- though, in the back of his head, he realized it was probably just easier for the redeemer to drop down to his knees to deal with the pain than to show he was really hurting. Hiro put his hands on his hips and shook his head once more, comprehending why Nuke was inviting this but still finding it to be silly. Hiro would drop down into a seated position right in front of Nuke, surprising the fans and potentially his opponent. "I don't need revenge, I just need a spark!" Hiro would look to strike Nuke with another stiff forearm as he sat right in front of him, inviting their trading of blows to begin once again!

The shots rang out like a three-round burst of a FAMAS, smacking one-two-three flush against Hiro's head and causing him to lean on his left arm to the side, his head bobbling like a free gift given to the first 18000 fans before a baseball game. Nuke gave Hiro exactly what he was expecting, and the fans were still eating out of their hands here early: they LOVED this, and as Hiro slowly regained his balance on his a** and shook away his pains they'd get even more. While letting out a very audible grunt, Hiro looked to slap Nuke across the face while switching from his a** to a knee, keeping his head close to his opponent.

Once again, a harsh headbutt would break through the barrier between the men on a philosophical level. Nuke had caused so much early damage to Hiro's head that the Ethnic Enigma, through the ringing and white spots he saw behind his eyelids, couldn't even remember his own name. He'd been dealt so much cranial trauma since his match with Drako Damone that while he was once again used to probably just being concussed it was actually slowing him down mentally. It didn't help when he started to feel warm liquid rushing down the bridge of his nose and into his mouth -- busted open now from the headbutt. Hiro would barely keep his balance on a knee but began to rise up quickly putting his second leg beneath him. He tried to chop Nuke again as a way of bringing him up as well through bizarre momentum!

Damn it, Hiro's hand was absolutely killing him after another chop. The blood pouring from his forehead would sting his eyes, causing him to blink rapidly as Nuke would appear before him, his chest glowing and his arms spread wide. Hiro would scoff a little bit at the fact that Nuke was again inviting an attack, but perhaps this is what the God felt he needed to do. It was not Hiro's job to judge him, instead he had to give his friend what he want. Shooting out his hand, he slapped Nuke in the temple from the left, and then the right -- he would shoot a short kick from the left side connecting with his hamstring, and do a quick 180 for a weak spinning backfist to his face! It probably wasn't a good idea to have thrown in that last one as Hiro struggled to not fall over from the quick turn, his greywater sloshing around audibly between his ears. He would then, as quickly as he could, try to spin around again and catch Nuke with a lariat, looking to take him down to the mat and complete his combination!
