Stay at his place? Teiluj took a double take back at Lynx. Surely she had heard him wrong. HIS PLACE and room for the others!? Teiluj shook her head, she would revisit that after she had time to figure out what it was the Tao was so concerned about.

Watching Lynx join her side, Teiluj gave a bright smile. It felt nice to have someone so warm and friendly around. Giving a nod of her head she ventured into the brush after her companion. Her footing wasn't as sure in the soft sand shifting under her feet. It was easier to walk in the jungle than it was here in the hot sand. Her hand instinctively reached towards Lynx's arm unconsciously in an attempt to keep her balance more secure to prevent another accident like before.

Approaching the Radaku Teiluj gave a gasp. There was a nest full of a creature Teiluj had never seen before. They looked starved, off to the side Teiluj could see the meager remains of what she had assumed was the parent creature of the small being's in the nest. Not that there was much left of the animal. It looked like it had been torn apart and devoured. Even a couple of the small babies looked like they had run into the same fate.

"Lynx, they look so hungry and to tiny to be alone." Teiluj dropped to her knees in front of the nest of three small surviving critters. The purple glow of her mending skill filled the space between her palms.

Tao sat off to the side. Much more relaxed than before now that the small creatures were getting some attention. Still a bit wary of Lynx but much more accepting of his presence.

Listening intently to the male hybrid Teiluj felt sorry for the small kittens. Lifting them up one at a time to inspect them. Her body struggling to keep from falling over. After having exhausted her magic once again. The feeling of Lynx's hand on her shoulder helped stabilize her somehow. Her golden eyes flicked towards his hand, her features soft and gentle as she traced his arm up to his shoulders. Then to his eyes. The female hybrid still held a smile on her face.

"I don't think these kittens are right for me. I'm just happy that they are alive." Snuggling the kittens close to her chest Teiluj struggled to rise to her feet.

Tao made his slow approach towards the two hybrids as Teiluj fussed over the kittens. Sniffing at the smaller creatures in her hands.

"D-did you say your place?" Teiluj asked tentatively, unsure she was hearing him right. "Are you sure that's a good idea. I mean, it's not bad out here. I don't have anything to offer in exchange. I don't want to burden you."

Blinking a few times Teiluj looked down, then back up. "Do you... offer your bed... to every g-girl you meet?" She was half teasing him now, half serious about her question. He was attractive, very attractive. For all she knew he could just be another playboy type. Her body trembled as she pushed herself forward. Giving a shake of her head at the question of just sitting back.

"That would be rude of me. Having someone else do the work. I'll pack, and maybe it's silly but I can ride Tao. We would travel faster if we were both mounted." The hybrid pointed out. Her movements slow from both exhaustion and the wiggling kittens in her arms. "uh... Here... can you take one. I'm scared i'll drop it." Teiluj passed the bigger of the three over to Lynx. There was tenderness in her as she cooed at the small creatures. Working her way towards her belongings.

It took her some time before she reached her bag, kneeling down to put the small kittens in her bag. Watching Tao lay down beside the bag, his tail moving back and forth Teiluj gave the beast a pat on the head. She was determined to gather up her things. She could do this. She was strong.

Loading the last of her items up on Tao, Teiluj paused. Maybe Lynx was right after all. With Tao carrying all of her gear and items, there was no way he was going to be able to carry her too.
