The camera panned to the squared circle, which was currently decorated with The Cutting Edge's setup - monitors, a special mat with the Rated-R Superstar's logo, two steel folding chairs in the center being the most prominent items. Heading into this segment, many fans were appalled by Edge's actions. Anxious to find out why Edge decided to attack Christian Cage, his former best friend and former in-storyline brother. "You think you know me?"
'Metalingus' by Alter Bridge would promptly begin to play, with smoke rising from the mouth of the entrance ramp for a few seconds before Edge, who sported a leather jacket, a shirt, jeans, and shades. Due to his villainous persona, Edge didn't bother to even stop to look at the crowd as he walked down the entrance ramp.
The Rated-R Superstar would make his way to the ring, walking up the steel steps and stepping into the ring, getting in via the space in between the top and middle ropes. Edge would circle the ring, looking at the setup. An official would hand over a pair of microphones. Edge would put one on a chair and he would hold one in his hand.
The Ultimate Opportunist would wait for his music and the crowd to die down. "I don't want to waste MY time! Christian - you no-good, uncharismatic b*****d, COME ON OUT!" Edge demanded that his guest come out as he sat in one of the two steel chairs set up for both men.

After a pretty lengthy delay, the countdown begins on the titantron as the lights dim and the audience cheers extremely loud! The beginning of Christian Cages theme plays and after a few moments, he walks out from backstage in casual clothes, putting a hand over his forehead and looking all throughout the audience at the PEEPS cheering him on. He walks down the ramp afterward, and while the camera was zoomed in on Edge, Christian received a mic at ringside. He wastes no time entering the ring, but does not sit in one of the chairs, he just looks right at Edge as his theme closes. A huge moment, the fans were chanting "Holy s**t" due to the fact that both Edge and Christian were in the same ring together and had huge hostility towards one another for the first time ever after all the years of being best friends. Christian walks back and forth, allowing the host of The Cutting Edge get his words in.

Edge, despite being the most villainous of the duo, would remain seated as he decided to remain civil and non-hostile towards his guest, Captain Charisma.
"Why don't you take a seat, Christian? We've got a lot to talk about and I'm sure this crowd will want to hear every part of it."
Edge would insist.

Christian stood there with his arms folded, not budging and not saying anything, knowing that would get on Edge's nerves.

Rather frustrated by Christian's reluctance to sit down and have a chat, Edge would promptly stand up, the chair falling over.
"Real funny, Christian. I'm trying to have a proper show here!
Fine, then, let's cut to the chase...
I guess you're wondering WHY I did what I did on WAR. Out of all the people on that show, why did that happen to you? Let me tell you why, Christian... Let me explain what I had running through my mind. Christian Cage, there comes a time in a wrestler's career where he has to hang up his boots and call it quits."
The crowd was confused. Their confusion was visible, but they kept quiet, as they wanted to hear Edge's motivation, however wild and out of place it was.
"You see, Christian, you and me got into this business at roughly the same time. Not only did we grow up together in our hometown, but we also burst onto the scene together. We made our impact as a tag team. We've etched our names in the history books of this industry. Professional wrestling or sports entertainment wouldn't be a multi-billion dollar industry if we hadn't stepped foot in this ring and made the necessary sacrifices to kick a**, take names, and win it big! However, there can't be a start without an end. No life without death, and the message that I wanted to send out is that your career shall be buried alongside Kurt Angle's when I'm through with you! Just like I retired Kurt, I'm going to END YOUR CAREER... AT WRESTLEMANIA: LAST CHRISTMAS! CUE THE FOOTAGE!"
Edge would make a signal after demanding that a video package be played. The crowd was shocked to find out Edge's ulterior motive. On the monitor that was set up in the ring, and on the titantron, highlights of Edge versus Kurt Angle would start to play, ultimately ending with Edge ending Angle's career. Edge would smirk as he was proud to relive that glorious moment.

Continuing to keep his arms folded throught Edge's speech and displaying the match on the titantron, Christian Cage listened to Edges words and waited until he was finished, and spoke. "You know, all of this right here didnt have to happen. You and me were best of friends for decades. Decades! Never in a million years did I ever see this happening until just before the Royal Rumble Pay Per View. During that time you were just starting to act different. And I know you were having a hard time, you werent getting the job done in CWF for a stretch there. And that happens, we both have been there. But my point is this Edge, we would always help each other get through it, but this time things were different. You werent returning my calls or texts, and when we did run into each other, I could just tell something was off. And NOBODY in this business knows you better than me, I knew EXACTLY what you were up to! That's why at the Royal Rumble I eliminated you from the match because I knew that if I didnt, you were going to do that same thing to me. But let's fast forward to WAR, where you blindsided me. I couldnt even appear at work because I was suffering from a concussion, but I am medically cleared now!" The audience cheers loudly knowing Christian can compete again despite that devastating attack from Edge a month ago. "Edge.. at Wrestlemania, I'm going to do to you the same thing I did to you in the Royal Rumble match. I'm going to put you out of your misery. You can go ahead and play videos of the past all you want, where maybe then you could get the job done, but today, I look across the ring at you right now Edge and I see nothing but a desperate, broken down, weakened, shell of a man who I once considered my friend, but all I see is a man who has a yellow streak up his back because the only time he can get the better of someone, is to attack from behind like a SNAKE! Well listen here Edge! I'm right here face to face, so why dont you TRY ME?!?" Christian stands there ready for a fight.

Edge would cynically laugh as he heard Christian try to talk some sense into him. He would chuckle and would raise his microphone to his mouth.
"Christian, oh, Christian... you're delusional if you THINK you can beat me. As you mentioned, it's no use to talk about the past - what really matters is the present. Christian, at any point in the past, present or future, you've NEVER stood a chance against me and you damn well know that! You want to brawl?! I'm not giving you what you want, Christian!"
Edge would back away from Cage, maintaining his distance.
"If these people want to see EDGE VERSUS CHRISTIAN, IN THE RING, they're going to have a pay a premium for it!"
Edge would announce as he made it very clear that any fight between the two would only take place at Wrestlemania (subtitle: Last Christmas).
"I say that we settle this at WRESTLEMANIA with a catch:
The loser has to call it quits and go out on his back!"
The crowd would rile up as Edge was challenging Christian to put his career on the line!

 Suddenly, from out of nowhere, "No Chance in Hell" plays through the PA system. It's Vince McMahon! God knows how long it's been since he was seen in his greatest creation yet--CWF! He would appear out on the stage, with a microphone in hand as he would then begin to speak. He puts his hand in his pocket and gets comfortable. "CUT MY MUSIC DAMMIT!" as the production truck would say, with them wasting no time cutting his theme song. "Now you see, I'm only out here to prevent you two from making any.. irrational decisions. You see.. I can't afford to lose neither you Edge, or YOU Christian. You two are very valuable when it comes to the entertainment of each and every individual out here. So a career vs. career match... is not happening." The crowd would let out a slight disappointment in their vocals. "HOWEVER! THERE WILL BE A MATCH! And that match WILL determine the future for one of you men. And it will grant the winner a #1 contenders spot for ANY championship they want!" The crowd would begin to cheer, as there would be huge stakes at cost! "And Christian! I see you're looking for a fight! Unfortunately, we don't have enough time to fit one in for you tonight! but I can grant you one on Monday Night WAR coming up.. and you may want to turn around because he's standing right in that ring behind you..."

Christian was shocked to see Vince, his boss, come out. After listening to all he had to say, Christian turns around to see what Vince was talking about...

Rhino would sneak in the ring from behind and when Christian turned around, he would hit him with GORE!!!!

Rhino would then get up and start beating his chest like a rabid animal as his TNA theme would start playing! it was very fitting since Rhino, Christian and Edge were all high school friends, and for Rhino to be included in this feud, making it known he sided with Edge on this one! The crowd would be SHOCKED to see Vince McMahon brought back The War Machine to CWF, and things were going to get far more interesting from here!

Vince McMahon would watch at the top of the stage Rhino spearing the hell out of Christian Cage, and the audience would pop loudly from just how quick Rhino was able to cut Christian in half, as well as his return to CWF. As Christian laid there, Rhino's theme would cut and Vince would pick up the mic and begin to speak again. "That's not all.. Edge, don't think you're getting off easy! Don't think you get the night off just because Christian is wrestling Rhino! Since we're digging up relics of the past, you will ALSO be wrestling a match on Monday Night WAR against.. THIS MAN!"

"OoOoOohhhHh YeeSsSs!" and then a piano instrumental would play for a brief moment. "I will.. DELETE YOU!" as The Deletion Anthem would play through the arena! It was Matt Hardy, and he was WOKEN! he would appear on the stage next to Vince McMahon with a big goofy grin, and he turns to the ring where Edge was standing, doing his DELETE taunt as his theme played and the crowd cheered loudly!
