Salem was unable to protect himself, taking the hard cross from Cartwright delivered in cowardly fashion! His head snapping to the side, Croft's vision went fuzzy a moment, his body momentarily numb, not feeling Omen and Butler tossing him through the ropes to the outside and not realizing a gang of security was descending upon him! The fans booed, some even tossing cups and popcorn pales towards the ring I'm response to Cartwright's inciteful antics!
"This is a disgrace! He's a defenseless man, he was helpless! How could you call yourself a man and do this?!"
"He calls himself "The Boss", J.R.! Enough said!"

Cartwright and The Butler revel in the crowds displeasure while the security team enters the arena, making their way towards Salem Croft to escort him out.

The security force Cartwright dispatched reaches the bottom of the ramp, at least a dozen strong! But as Salem stands back up and they reach for him, "The Copperhead" starts to strike, throwing hooks and kicks that send the guards aside! A rather large officer approaches, looking to manhandle Salem's back into the apron, but Croft raked the man's eyes and nailed him with a C.O.D., the man's spine bending like a rubber band as he flopped back off the stunner! "Salem's fighting back! He's not gonna put up with this! He's gonna fight for his family, come Hell or high water, King!"
"But there's so many of them, J.R.! How long can he hold up?!"Two more guards tried to grab Salem by each arm, but "Showtime" slung them into each other, clapping them together and dropkicking them both to the ground! Four more try to rush Salem from the front, Salem surging into them with a fury that forced the collective apart, Croft taking one to his back and putting him down with some ground 'n pound! But two more grabbed the "Gypsy Savage" up from behind, pulling him off!
Flailing his arms, Salem broke one wrist free and slung a fist at the other guard, then taking his hunched body to toss into his partner! The audience roared with passion as Salem slapped his chest and stared at Cartwright, letting out a primal scream and starting back towards the ring after the man through a pile of bruised bodies!

Cartwright looks at Salem with a humored expression on his face.
Cartwright: "You just couldn't leave peacefully but that's OK.
Now I get to make it interesting after you violently attack my innocent security!"
Cartwright waves his hand, calling a new security team forward.
Cartwright: "You may act is self-defence, use as much force as required!"
The dozen security guards are wearing riot gear, carrying stun guns and batons, Salem is going to get beaten to a pulp before his title defence!
JR: "This stinks of a set-up!"
King: "That is absolutely ridiculous!
Nobody made Salem go feral!
He chose to go down this road!"

Suddenly the handful of recovering security start brandishing weapons, swinging a flurry of batons to put Salem flat on the ramp! As he fought to get back up, one of them deployed a taser, making Salem writhe in pain as his muscles seized up and dropped him to the ground! The crowd booed vigorously at the despicable tactics, tossing trash into the ring at the trio while a staggered and stunned Salem was pulled up the ramp, surrounded by a gang of armed forces! "Cartwright has gone too far, here! He's threatening a man's child! Threatening a man's livelihood! All for some sick game! Salem didn't deserve this!"
"Then YOU take that up with management, J.R.! Don't expect ME to fall on the sword!"
