The ring shot connected as Avari felt the breath leave his lungs, his arms instinctively went from his eye to the new source of pain. Doubled over on the mat he squirmed and tried to breathe in deep, as the ref stood back up to continue officiating the match.

The King of Beasts knelt down, looking to lift Avari back to his feet, only to turn to throw him over the top rope.

Avari felt his body being lifted up and didn't fight back much, still gritting his teeth through the pain. The motion next was almost stomach churning as the experienced Cyrus threw him over the top rope.
Fusion attempted to catch the top rope on the way to stop himself but stumbled and bounced off the ring apron, hitting the mats outside and rolling a few feet away from the ring.

The King of Beasts rolled out of the ring after Avari, ignoring warning from the referee to stay in the ring. He approached his opponent, speaking up once again. "Come on, use your head kid. Why would I waste my energy wrestling with you?" Cyrus sprung at Avari, attempting to kick him while he was down once again.

Avari felt the kick in the ribs almost like a baseball bat, the sheer viciousness of it forcing the oxygen from his lungs yet again. It was starting to make sense.. why would Cyrus need to beat Avari, when he could just destroy him?
The crowd gave off the mutterings of a jeer as the fight ensued, Fusion looking to crawl away at a slow pace, coughing and spluttering as he does so.

"Where do you think your going?!" The Lion grinned at Fusion attempting to crawl away. He'd bend over to try and lift Avari up just enough to whip the man into the nearest barricade. "Take a seat!"

Avari seemed to comply well as he was brought up momentarily before being launched in to the barricade. His back hit it hard as he slumped down against it, continuing to try and catch his breath.
Fans at ringside reached down to touch Avari before moving back from the barricade.

"You want to beat me? You want to beat the world champion? We're playing for keeps now, so either adapt, or get out of my way!" Before continuing, the King of Beasts glances back as the referee had already started to count them out. "Commit that to memory. Stay down, or I'll put you down!" Turning, Cyrus stepped away to roll back into the ring.

Avari coughed and spluttered, shaking his head as beads of sweat rolled down his temple already. Cyrus wanted to put him through his paces and, for sure, was already doing so.
Groaning to himself Avari brought himself to his feet, before gritting his teeth and running at Cyrus to try and hit him with a chop to the back of the knee!
It hurt to move, but there was no way he could just not fight back!

The Lion was struck in the back of the knee, knocking Cyrus flat on his back.

Avari looked to follow up by picking up Cyrus and rolling him in to the ring, following close behind.
If successful he looked to follow closely behind, sliding in to the ring and attempting to lock in an Anaconda Vice!
