Woah that was one hell of a information drop. Siel’s eyes widened and he nearly choked on his own spit. A missing mother? One presumed dead, but obviously not if she had a sister? The hybrid ‘casually’ reached for his drink and gave it a sip while eyeing her the entire time.

“Maybe that’s a question you should ask tomorrow.” Under any other, literally any other circumstances, Siel would have acted on the building tension between them. Quiana was looking at him in ways he’d seen in others, but now that Siel knew what he knew didn’t feel right pushing things further. At least, not tonight; not if it could be something she would regret or would add to her misery.

When he saw the waitress coming around with another round Siel gave the woman a hard glare and she promptly turned around. “Kahi, Aishan and earthling? Well, that’s new.” Giving a half-sort of laugh, Siel gave Quiana’s hand a squeeze before reaching over to pat her shoulder with his other hand. “Come on, let’s get you up and out. If you want help tracking down your newfound family tomorrow I can offer my services, but tonight a nice, soft bed is in order.” Any interaction with her mother might be…problematic, at best, but maybe that wouldn’t be the case with her…nephews? Nieces? Niece and nephew.

"Hmm." Quiana dragged out the soft hum, her lips pursed into a pout at the very mention of tomorrow. Could she even dare to imagine a meeting? It had to happen, her grandmother didn't have much time left and she needed answers, but it did not make the Elidae any less reluctant to confront her family. "Maybe I should drink more." She managed as she slowly lifted her head, the Elidae's dreads shifting over a shoulder as she glanced around. The room was slightly blurry, maybe that was a mix of her drinking and the stinging sensation in her eyes as she dealt with the mess of emotions, and she was disappointed to see that the waitress was across the way. "Do we have to leave now?" She asked quietly, her stomach churning at the thought of even approaching sleep because it would bring tomorrow closer. "Is it because I'm not energetic like usual? I probably seem pretty depressing right now. I could have been dancing...but the music stopped and the drinks kept comin'." Why was that again? Ah, yes. Sisters trying to stab each other....how promising for her upcoming meeting with her own sister. Would they fight like that? Would she even stay around long enough to find out enough about the hybrid to care?

Still, her attention did finally drift back to Siel as some of his words registered. "You...are okay helping me?" She asked, tilting her head with confusion before a small smile crossed her lips. "Maybe I'll take that." It would be nice to have at least one familiar face before approaching something so daunting. Strange how an impromptu dance on the docks and a tavern visit worked out like this. Quiana wasn't complaining, at least not about that aspect, but the idea of moving in the moment just made her lay her head back down again. "The table could be a bed, right?" She murmured, the alcohol really starting to kick in as she felt her eyes get heavier.

“Or maybe you shouldn’t. Just trust me on this, okay?” Siel slid some coin across the counter before rising off his stool. If she wanted to pay him back they could hash that out in the morning, but honestly he wasn’t worried about it. “Mind keeping this here until tomorrow?” He motioned down to his steel drum and when the bartender nodded Siel was immediately relieved. The hybrid might have been on the larger side, but he wasn’t nearly strong enough to take it back with Quiana.

“If I minded, I wouldn’t have offered,” He quirked his maw into a smirk before quickly tutting and reaching for her shoulder again. “Hey hey, no sleeping here. If you’re that tired I can carry you but we’re not staying here.”

"Hehe, imagine getting carried." Murmured Quiana with a laugh, her cheeks flushed fully by this point as exhaustion had her relenting to his request to stop drinking. It did take her a few tries but eventually she did manage to slowly push her body away from the table. "I can handle it." She wobbled though with the words, the Elidae leaning against Siel for support as the world decided to shift beneath her feet. Imagine how her Extremist grandmother would react to knowing that she was relying upon a hybrid! Quiana was delighted by it though. It was probably for the best that her warrior grandmother was not with them in this world and that her kind-hearted lover had been the grandmother to raise Quiana instead. She could only imagine that the spirit of her grandmother was tossing in her grave, had she been on this earth still then she would chase down anyone who dared to soil her family name regardless of blood relations or not. "Grandmother would be so heated...." She mumbled before holding out a hand to catch the wall, her expression shifting from amusement to something different as her stomach rolled. Earthling alcohol had quite a kick, didn't it? Well, considering she had at least three bottles and not much to eat with the drink itself...things added up for the Elidae who was not accustomed to drinking.

"I don't feel well, Siel." She managed after a moment, her voice wavering with fear. "It's not right." She had never felt like this before, her senses didn't feel like her own and the room was spinning. Was she afraid facing family as well? Most definitely, but what if she didn't live to face tomorrow? A very tipsy Quiana felt her emotions curling up in her stomach along with the drink, the Elidae suddenly pulling away from Siel and twisting around through the crowd as she tried to get outside for fresh air. Thankfully she managed enough, her body curling over some bushes for a moment before she settled back down on the ground and simply stared at the stars. Her throat burned, her body felt far too warm and she was just thankful for the ocean breeze that swept across her body as the chill of night took over from the heat of the day. She would eventually get upstairs to the bed...maybe or just curl up here for a bit. Quiana's head bobbed at the thought as she tried to calm down her breathing, the Elidae exhausted and still feeling overwhelmed by the buzz of alcohol and everything else. "Just a bit with the stars, if that's okay....then I'll go wherever you want." She stated, her voice softer than usual and definitely more of a drawl as the words took their time leaving her lips. Even they felt different, her whole body felt different...Quiana's antenna twitched before she closed her eyes for a moment and decided to once more focus on the stars until everything faded away.

Her feet may have drug a little, but Siel was confident he could at least get her to the inn. Still, they were on the move now and he was doing his best to offer as much support – physical and mental – as he could while getting a grasp on things.

“It’s alright, I got’cha. Just focus on one step after another.” Spirits above if she turned into a paranoid drunk Siel didn’t know what to do. He could handle happy, weepy, flirty and the like, but anxious drunks…He hiked her arm up over his shoulder for a better hold and started to move –

-only for the woman to bolt!

“Quiana!” s**t! Siel pushed past some patrons to get outside where he was greeting to a sorry sight. Proud Aishan warriors, hmm? Strongest and most elite of their time – How many people get to see them flopping about like tired toddlers in the street? “You get a few minutes, but that’s it. After that I’m taking you upstairs.” The last thing he wanted was for her to get sick on herself, so maybe the air would help.
