  The lights dim dark red and the sound of carnival music switching to heavy metal plays in the arena, and the crowd begins to boo mostly for the monster about to make his entrance. Abyss walks out, with his signature hood with a brownish vest over top of it. He stops at the top of the ramp, spreading his arms. A pyro goes off, scaring the crowd. Abyss starts walking down the ramp, with an intense and intimidating look on his face, being introduced.
Announcer: " Introducing at this time, the winner of the 2022 ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH, THE MONSTER, ABYSSSSSS!" Abyss then pushes a cameraman's camera out of his way, and then walks past some of the fans at ringside, including kids who are frightened of the Monster, and walks up the steps and enters the ring. He walks to the opposite side of the ring and does his signature spread of the arms taunt, and starts pacing around the ring, keeping his hoodie and vest on for the moment. The lights go back to normal, his theme slowly fades, and the MONSTER stands in the ring, looking around at the fans, whipping his hair back..

Abyss was standing there in the middle of the ring, his theme fading out and the lights returning to normal. He takes the hood off of his head, pacing around with the microphone in hand. The Monster stops in the middle of the ring, looking around at the CWF audience, who all were anxious of what he was going to say, and he raises the microphone up to his mouth.....

Before Abyss could speak one single word, the familiar beginning of Samoa Joe's theme plays, getting a big reaction from the audience, not expecting this. Wasting no time, as Joe's TNA theme progresses to the the lyrical part, the Samoan Submission machine walks out from backstage with a purpose. Glaring at the ring at the 6 foot 8 monster that Joe has no fear of and has clashed with several times before, and let's not forget it was Abyss who had help from Triple H who eliminated Joe from the Rumble. He walks down the ramp and enters the ring from the steps, pacing around with a microphone in hand as his theme cuts. Joe wastes no time speaking even with the cantankerous CWF audience still making plenty of noise. "Abyss, ain't nobody got time for these games you've been playing. All we hear is 'who is Abyss going to pick?' Just stop it already! You've dragged this out long enough when we all know that you're going to pick Trent. Or.. are you?" a bit of a reaction comes from the crowd as Joe raises some eyebrows. "Let's face it Abyss. You won the Royal Rumble. That itself is an impressive feat...BUT... theres one thing that everyone saw that I know has to be in that big crazy whacked out head of yours... you needed Triple H's help to do it." Joe pauses as the audience reacts to that as a big shot taken from Joe and he starts speaking again. "You needed Triple H to eliminate me. You needed Triple H to eliminate Cody Rhodes... to weaken Matt Gennison.. to weaken and eventually eliminate Drew McIntyre. Really? Is that the same Abyss who won the CWF World Heavyweight Championship.... the same Abyss who was the SOLE SURVIVOR at Bragging Rights... the same Abyss who has defeated the likes of Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker one on one? It doesnt look like that to me! Let's just face it Abyss, on paper, you won the Royal Rumble. But in front of everyones faces, you're nothing but a 6 foot 8, 350 pound SHELL of a monster who nowadays needs help to win. Abyss... had Triple H not been out there, it would've been ME eliminating YOU. You see... Triple H has always had a problem with me. Maybe because I almost ended his career, maybe because he couldnt get me on his side, or because I dont roll the same way he does. Whatever! He didnt want me to win that Royal Rumble because he is AFRAID of me. But it's different for you Abyss. Triple H didnt help you win the Royal Rumble for the Authority's sake. He helped you win because no matter what happens these days, Triple H doesnt see you as a threat to him anymore like in the past. And I know deep down in your soul Abyss.... that is eating you alive." Samoa Joe looks up right into the eyes behind Abyss' mask after verbally cutting him down.

Right away angered by Samoa Joe coming out here, Abyss watches him make his entrance with an angry/upset look on his face. He listens to everything Joe says, and every time the camera zoomed on Abyss he looked even angrier. When Joe was finished, Abyss starts to speak, out of anger. "That's right Joe, you shut your mouth because now I'm talking." The audience goes ooooh and some start standing, because NO ONE talks to Samoa Joe like that and gets away with it. "You're going to come out here, get in my face and tell me that you would've won the Royal Rumble? No Joe... you LOST. I entered this ring, I destroyed everyone I came across, and yeah, Triple H came out here, that was not of my asking. Let me make one thing clear, I dont NEED Triple H's help, I dont need the Authority's help, I would've won that Royal Rumble without Triple H! And Joe..... I certainly dont need anyones help in beating you, one on one! In a matter of fact... over the years... you CANT beat me. Every time you and me face off.. the same result occurs. I defeat you.... and I destroy you." Abyss glares at Samoa Joe, seemingly setting up a match for later tonight, certainly not planned as Abyss intentions in this segment were speculated to be him potentially revealing his Wrestlemania choice.

Joe damn near snaps when Abyss started talking but opts to at least listen to what he had to say, knowing now that no matter what Abyss says, whether Abyss challenges him or Joe challenges Abyss, they are gonna fight tonight. He listens to everything and then speaks. "Alright big man, I'm ready whenever you are. And Triple H better watch out. Because after what I did to Drew McIntyre on WAR, and what I'm about to do now to you, I'm coming for him next." Joe looks at the TV camera. "Triple H, I know you're listening. After I beat Abyss, I'm coming for that CWF championship." Joe turns back to Abyss. "So Abyss why dont we go ahead and fight?!? Come on get a referee out here!!!" Joe backs up and looks up the ramp, either for a referee or someone to make this an official impromptu match!
