Omari chuckled, amused by the obvious excitement of the other hybrid. It was a good sign though to always watch the reactions of newcomers to the academy. If she felt that the grounds were this lovely then surely that meant renovations were a success when it came to attracting attention! They had to bring in the students and sponsors somehow, after all. "'Lately, I don't feel like I do ever leave." He joked with a glance around the place, his gaze bright despite the statement. "It's my home at this point, things are simply too busy for me to venture away often."

"But we'll see if you still feel the same once you see the upstairs and the paperwork I'll need your assistance with." Omari gestured for Zuri to follow him back along the path, heading past the patio where the servants were setting up a little luncheon with tea, and back towards the stairs where their tour had began. Upstairs the first doorway would reveal one of the larger rooms in the manor, shelves of books with a few scattered tables holding artifacts and the like making up the library which was lit by the tall stained glass windows overlooking the gardens below. "The library and study are the first rooms with the rest being for guests, the students stay in the adjoining manor while this one mostly houses family and friends....with some teachers and other associates as necessary." Even some of the treasure hunters as well, anyone who Omari worked with and didn't mind having in close quarters to his own private rooms that he had secured at the end of the second floor hallway since he did basically live within the premises ever since taking over the academy.

Hmm... Yet another benefit in her eyes. Even if they both were busy working, Zuri was looking forward to getting plenty of glimpses at this young man... "It's good to see you feel this place worth so much attention. I do hope I will be able to relieve your burden as least a little." She paused a moment and smirked lightly. "For proper compensation, of course. Especially if the paperwork situation is as dire you so ominously imply."

Her eyes shifted to look at the mentioned manor for the students and compare it to the one for guests and family. And other associates. As an employee, might that include her? Her smile curved a little as she shut her parasol for the trip back indoors. There were a few options and upgrades she could work toward...

The library. It was certainly grand, but frankly held little of her interest. She gave it a polite onceover to look more curious than she was, but was quickly ready to move on and turned to look for the way up. "How loud does this library usually get? I would like a more peaceful environment if I am to fully focus on the work."

Omari smirked at the commentary, the hybrid still amused by Zuri's attitude towards the employment opportunity and academy. "Proper compensation, hmm? I suppose that is to be expected once you prove your ability to handle such paperwork situations." Guiding the way, he simply allowed her to look around before pausing at the question about noise levels within the library. "It's fairly peaceful, mostly I'm the only one up here save for whenever one of my associates needs to do research on historic pieces or a student is trying to recreate some dance or play from the tomes here." His family would sometimes stop in to snoop around when visiting as well, Cyrus in particular often wandering the shelves whenever he was in Oba while some of his other nephews and nieces spent a fair amount of time here as well. Not that Omari opted to mention that, figuring that Zuri would deal with such matters when it did occur and knowing that for the most part...minus some notorious troublemakers, his family was respectful of the space.

"There is my office, however, where the paperwork resides which is usually quiet unless I have company. There is a secondary desk in there, but it may feel too cramped which is why I would recommend a table in here during times like this when the manor is quiet." He opened a side door, gesturing down the hallway to where he had left his office door open. Inside the room was large with his desk in the center, a couple more shelves and displays inside, with even a chaise for guests and another smaller desk in the corner that was angled in such a way to also get sunlight from the nearby window, the tall frame allowing in plenty of light while not taking up much of the wall. There was a balcony in between it and another window, the balcony door being situation behind Omari's desk so that he could easily survey the courtyards below. Though it was noticeably hard to see past the pile of paperwork dominating his desk to even appreciate the balcony view, the stone pillars the only real visible thing peeking through the headache that Omari had taken a break from before meeting Zuri.

The other desk was not fortunate enough to escape the paperwork either, several documents also laid scattered about in piles based upon surveys, income reports and such for running the academy. "I was working on a table to document the costs versus income of everything but had to review applicants first. Most of the documents on that secondary table are related to financial matters while I have the applications and recommendations for classes on the main desk...along with several other things." He managed, his expression somewhat pained as he took in the pile of paperwork that despite some far-fetched hope had not shrunk since he left the office and seemingly had grown instead much to his dismay. Omari let out a soft breath, his gaze going back towards Zuri to study her reaction. "You don't have to commit and could walk away, I wouldn't blame you for it." He teased lightly. "But if you deem this manageable then I would recommend some tea and snacks first before diving into this mess."

As much as Zuri enjoyed being around groups in certain cases, she had a feeling that the coming work would be best done in a peaceful environment. The distractions of rubbing elbows with the elite of the academy could wait for when she wasn't trying to show off her excellent work ethic!

She followed as she was guided to her workspace, eager to see what she would be facing for the sake of having access to the majestic academy. The moment her eyes landed on the stacks of papers, her expression fell soberly. She looked from side to side slowly, taking in all in. "Oh.." she breathed out in shock. "I see what you mean.." Ominous may have been an understatement for Omari's earlier warnings. She stepped forward and ran her fingers along one stack to flick the edges of the papers. This was intense... but it also meant there would be plenty of work to keep her here for a long, long time! This was gold!

She braced her shoulders back and turned to Omari with a determined expression. "It is only papers. All I need is time, and I am sure this mess can regain some form of stability and organization to match the grace of the rest of this academy."

Omari let out a soft chuckle at the sight of Zuri's determination. For a moment there he had been worried that she had lost her resolve, the expression crossing her face at the sight of the papers not lost on the hybrid, but once again she had surprised him by rising up to the challenge. "Alright then." He nodded, taking a moment to truly ponder the option of hiring a secretary. "Hopefully another pair of hands will keep the piles from getting quite so high in the future, we just have to narrow down these stacks first." He admitted, sounding optimistic despite the looming mountain of paperwork that seemingly swayed before them.

"We can discuss more details over tea. It should be prepared by now." Omari brushed past Zuri, offering her a warm smile as he opened the door and prepared to show her back downstairs and outside to the patio. "If you feel inclined to stay afterwards we can begin on this and if not then we will start again tomorrow morning." And just like that it appeared he would have another pair of hands working under him, Omari's responsibilities growing even more as the Academy continued moving forward.
