the fans are definitely not happy that the champ seems to have taken control so early, but Drako doesn't much care. He's trapped in the Power Dome with the innovator of said match. He's going to have to fight by any means necessary to leave with his title tonight. With Cyrus rising up on his forearms, the champ attempts a soccer style kick to his ribs. He needs the King of the Canvas to stay on the canvas

The kick cracked the Lion across the ribs, knocking Cyrus onto his back. He grasped at his side, letting out a groan.

The champion has things going his way for the moment, and if the past few months are any indication, this is the way he likes things. Kneeling next to the challenger, the champ looks to clock him with some rights to the head

The champion continued to take pot shots at King Cyrus, swinging punches at the Lion's head. After taking another hit he would finally sit up and swing back at Drako.

Drako is caught with the swing, and it seems the challenger is ready to fight back from underneath. that being said, the champ swings back with a bit more force

Lifting up an arm, the Lion would block the incoming strike from the champion and spring in, attempting to hit Drako square in the face with a headbutt!

blocked, and now a headbutt strikes the champ right around the nose. The Soaring Dragon pops up and moves away, checking his nose. Not broken, not bleeding, but damn it that hurt

Pulling himself up from the ground, King Cyrus kept on Drako, looking to hit the champion with a kick to the gut. If successful, he'd suddenly attempt to lift Drako into a snap scoop powerslam!

now the crowd is getting some of what they came to see as the champion is off guard from the headbutt and doubled over with the kick, then lifted and slammed to the mat. Drako almost sits up again from the impact of hitting the mat

Rising to his feet, the King Cyrus suddenly leapt over Drako as he sprinted towards the ropes, springboarding off of the center rope to attempt a Lionsault!

having laid back again, the champion is prone for the challenger to crash across him with the Lionsault, leaving Drako slightly on his side on the mat

Cheers erupted from the audience as Cyrus landed the Lionsault on the champion! He immediately hooked a leg for a quick pin attempt!

Drako rolls his shoulder off the mat, avoiding the three count and saving his title for the moment.

The champ kicks out at 2! It would certainly be a shame for the audience if this match ended so soon, but the Lion will take whatever win he can get if it was for the belt. Speaking of which, it was time he paid Drako back from earlier. Back on his feet, King Cyrus would look start throwing a few kicks into Drako's ribs.

Drako wouldn't admit it but he's reeling after the turn of fortunes, and Cyrus being every bit the veteran that Drako himself is seems to know it and be looking to take advantage. As the first kick hits his ribs, Drako rolls to the side out of instinct, but another follows it. Again the champion rolls, reaching the ropes and using them to pull himself up
