When Harika had come to Belrea she had never expected to find the perfect moment of her life. As cheesy as it sounded everything seemed magical in the moment as she kissed Aurick back with everything she had. She felt so strongly about this, about how much she wanted to share in the warmth that he had brought to her life. "So...this is really happening, right?" She finally asked as their kiss broke so that they could both breathe before continuing anything else. It felt right to her, the kiss settled a knot in her stomach, but did Aurick feel the same? What if he changed his mind now that they had kissed and felt awkward? Usually Harika was far more confident but for some reason she felt sheepish, especially as she peeked up towards Aurick.

"Yeah." Aurick's response was a breathless whisper. He still felt as nervous now as he had on the dance floor, but something had shifted. Instead of being scared to meet her eyes he was excited. Bits of his mind were tugging at him to try it again, especially when she looked at him like that, but that was the part that Aurick was worried about. How much would be too much? He didn't want to scare her off.
"I...uhm...maybe we should head back? For tonight." He added the last bit quickly. "It's just that...I don't want to push this more than you're comfortable with and if we did end up drinking the wine and ale...I'm not sure what would happen." They could end up falling asleep next to the lake, have a conversation that lasted til dawn or...more.

He was okay with this. Harika swallowed before shaking her head at Aurick, her mind settling on a decision. She knew she could be whimsical and definitely had jumped into major life changing decisions in the past, so why change that now? She knew this was what she wanted. Her heart was set on it and honestly she felt completely safe with Aurick, no matter what happened. "Aurick." She started with an encouraging smile. "I don't think I would be able to sleep tonight even if we do go back." She tilted her head almost playfully, her confidence slowly building back at Aurick's own caution. If he felt so strongly then it would be fine if she reciprocated such feelings, right? "Also, we are sharing a room at the moment." Even if they did go back to the festivities and drank some there, dancing with others and having a fun time it still wouldn't be enough to diminish the fire she felt in this moment. Going back to the farmhouse in that room...no, she didn't feel like it would be safe there either.
"I think I'm more than willing to take the risk if you are." Harika reached up and placed her hand against Aurick's cheek. "If anything I think I would regret not living in this moment and spending the night together with you, no matter what route it takes." Whether it was just talking, staying together, kissing or doing more that was fine with Harika. She just didn't want to waste another precious moment with Aurick, not when she wanted to express everything that had been bottled up for weeks if not months now.

He opened his mouth and then closed it with a 'mm'. They were sharing a room back at the farmhouse so regardless of how this evening near the lake ended going back would be just as tricky. At least out here the lightning in his blood wouldn't potentially cause a scene around his family and embarrass the pair of them.
"I don't have any herbs or potions to stop...consequences." There really wasn't a grand way to say that, especially since they hadn't actually said that's what they were doing, but...Oh spirits, the anxiety was kicking back in. But, she was here, willing to go down that path no matter the outcome...
So, Aurick didn't waste any time in kissing her again and this time he kept the contact for much longer.

Harika pursed her lips before shaking her head again. "If the spirits will it then we'll deal with things." She murmured quietly. "As long as you're okay with that." Once again she was jumping into the moment, making a life decision without wasting time for regrets. They had others to support them, they had their own jobs and roles established especially with the bakery and Harika's own movement as a seamstress who had even won festival money and recognition for future commissions before coming on this vacation. Even if not tonight then honestly the idea of little ones running around wasn't quite so bad. Harika had always wondered what it would be like to raise a loving family, the idea of what she could have had if her mother had not passed all those years ago, and seeing Aurick's family and their warmth had given her a comfort that no matter what happened they would be okay. She trusted Aurick and she could only hope that he would trust her to handle whatever came their way because in the moment she didn't want to stop any of this. And so Harika pushed back up against him, her spirit full of confidence and heightened more by the thrill of the evening skies and the heat of the moment.
