His face did... a thing. Probably some variety of mild wince, he couldn't tell. Serr wasn't ashamed of what he did, but he did hope the children would be more than that. Still, the things he had learned had served him well over the years, and if Eziya didn't mind, he supposed he didn't have an excuse.

"Yeeeees?" He smirked. "I can tell a few stories that might keep them from using what they learned unless it's an emergency." Of course, one of those stories led to Eziya and eventually to the very child he would be warning, which was definitely a confusing moral. Steal for a living and you'll meet the love of your life.

It was all too much to think about right now.

"We will." That Serr knew for sure. Even though they hadn't interacted closely with many children, he had seen enough of them on the road to know that he wanted this new chapter in their lives very much. "And we'll find out how their minds work soon." He took her hand and patted it a couple of times, smiling in idle contemplation for all of thirty seconds before his eyes went wide and he sat up straight once again.

"We need names." This was a very exciting realization indeed. "But that could take ages." He glanced at the door. "I guess we should go? If everything is put away?"

It was true. They had plenty of time and none at all. It was exhilarating. For now Serr supposed it would be enough to take it slowly. Clean things up. Tell Fiia and Thess. And then wake up in the morning and get started properly.

He nodded back with a smile, giving her a peck on the cheek. "Of course. I'll always be here."
