Staurolite watched her bounce about, honestly a bit surprised that she was willing to help him out when he had started this whole thing. Plugging his nose with one hand, he looked up at her as she offered her a hand up, as well as a truce.
He considered for a moment, but he was the one that called an end to their little exchange. He lost, fair and square, so he bobbled his head in a sort of nod.
“Truce,” he said as he reached up and took her hand, using it to get himself back up and on his feet. “Thanks, and thanks for finding my slingshot." He offered his hand this time, palm up as he waited for her to return his weapon to him. "Guess I still need a lot of practice."

Godiva smiled and nodded as he approved of the truce. "You're welcome!"
There was a soft shrug, "I thought it was pretty good considering. You really had me looking for a way to fight back for a bit. I only hoped I got luck with the opening I -had- found to use my magic."
There was a chuckle, "That's unfortunately the drawbacks to close combat magic."
She looked around, "Oh you didn't tell me who you are after I told you my name." She was looking vaguely disappointed though more so curious as to what his name was. She was also trying to gauge what time it was, which meant she probably needed to think about scattering off so she could get home at a reasonable time, without her family looking for her.

For all the crap he gave the Order folks, he had to admit that there were a lot of them that were of a kinder nature, like Godiva. Was it enough to convince him that they weren’t a nuisance to the overall goals of the Negaverse? No, but he didn’t believe they were inherently bad people, either. They just liked to get in the way.
“Staurolite,” he said, shifting his hand so rather than holding it palm up he was offering her a handshake instead, “and that’s generous of you.I did have fun, so I guess thanks for that, too. Never thought I could get overwhelmed by peppermint, but,” he shrugged, “live and learn.”
Despite the loss, the lieutenant still had a smile on his face. No sense in letting it ruin his entire evening, after all.
“Anyway, how ‘bout you hand over my slingshot and we’ll call it a night?”

Godiva nodded, "Nice to meet you Staurolite!" She chirped as she accepted the handshake and made sure to give a firm shake back.
"Ah, I'm surprised it worked that well . . ." She admitted sheepishly. "I've always used it as more of a support type thing since it also has healing-ish properties." It wouldn't completely close a wound if it was a rather bad one but it helped.
She handed over the slingshot with a nod, "I hope to see you again! Maybe we'll find you a different target." She said with a chuckle.

”Healing, huh?” He looked genuinely interested. He’d been mainly focused on the smell, but he did recently become aware that peppermint was said to have some kind of healing properties thanks to his girlfriend. “Sounds useful in a pinch.”
There was a part of him that wanted to ask more, but the part that wanted to head home was winning out. There was always next time, assuming they manage to run into each other again. Once she handed over his slingshot, he pocketed it, nodded at her statement, and then turned to leave.
“Ditto, and I’ll definitely find other targets.” Staurolite grinned at that, then waved his goodbye. "Anyway, see you around!" And then he jumped down to the neighboring roof, quickly making his way to the library as he always did when he was ready to call it a night.
