Naia couldn’t keep her eyes off of the strange earthling. He truly was dancing with fire! He didn’t even seem bothered whenever he had to catch the flaming fans, the sight making Naia gasp even though he caught them every time. As he finished his performance she found herself clapping, the hapuna happy to have watched something so fun. “Nice!”

Cyril smirked, resting the blades on the sands so that the fires started to die out. “Think I’m not an expert?” He teased, stretching his arms above his head as he willed his aching body to forgive him for not doing more sooner.

“I had my doubts, but you destroyed them.” Confirmed Naia with a laugh. “Thank you for such an amazing show. I feel like I owe you a dinner or something else like that.” She looked over towards the ocean and then back to the performer. “What about a swim? I’m talented in the water and can show off there.”

Cyril blinked in surprise at the offer before honestly considering it. Wouldn’t it be nice to go for a swim on a day like this? “Why not.” He agreed with a nod. “My name is Cyril, by the way.” He added after a moment. He was trusting her in the ocean, may as well trade names.

“Naia.” The hapuna beamed happily before gesturing for him to follow her along the beach. “It’s been a while since I’ve just swam around for fun. My turn to show you a dance or two!” She teased happily, ready to play around for a bit after a long and stressful journey over the last few weeks.
