“Maybe steer clear of hunter traps too…” He said with a bit of a lighter tone. Tiam pulled out the needle he’d be using and started to thread it. He glanced at the alk and offered a smile to show he was kidding with her before he focused yet again on his job.

She couldn’t help but laugh at that. “Yeah. Yeah, I’ll be sure to do that.” Or at the very least trigger it the safe way. If she’d done that to begin with then she wouldn’t have had to make a trip to the healer at all. Would have saved her time and money.

“Did you accidentally stumble upon it or something? Should I notify the local authorities?” If the trap was too close to town then it could be dangerous. Well, not so much anymore but it would need addressing. Tiam was more than willing to report it if that meant that he didn’t have to stitch anyone else up.

“Uh no.. I saw it. I just didn’t want to leave it for some little kid to stumble into.” While she’d been annoyed by the thing she wasn’t looking to get anyone in trouble for trying to catch a beast. Considering the trap had been designed to do a lot of damage she figured it was likely to catch someone’s dinner rather than a new familiar.

“Ah, I see.” Well that was comforting at least. “Alright, I’m going to start stitching up the wound.” He warned her before he made the first insertion of the needle. Since she was doing this without a painkiller he wanted her to be well informed of his movements. Best way to avoid being kicked honestly.
