Raff sucked in a deep breath to steady herself before she acepted the sculpture. She held it as carefully as she could and looked at it with awe. If she held it too tight, she might break it. If she held it too loose, she might drop it. What a responsibility! It was intimidating, but she was up for the challenge!
With the most delicate steps, she slowly followed after Noelani to continue looking at the bowls. "Those are really pretty," she approved happily. She would keep the quartz ones in mind though, as her mother had seemed to like those. Maybe she and Zoicite could save up and get those for Noelani's birthday! The idea was still strange to her, but maybe now that she was getting older, she would understand it soon.
With that decided, she just as cautiously walked back to the front of the shop and gently placed the jellyfish on the counter. Once she was sure it was secure, she looked at the saleswomen and grinned proudly. "This is for me!"

"Oh really? Nice choice!" Myriana beamed at the youngling, the hybrid now free since finalizing the order for the other customers. "Just remember it's super delicate so take care of it." She cautioned, her expression and tone still warm and encouraging as she took out some paper to carefully wrap the figurine for the youngling. "Find everything that you liked? It's been a while, Noelani."
Noelani grinned at the shopkeeper, amused by the interactions and Raff's excitement for the figurine. "We've been in Oba for a while, my grandparents don't like going to the village often but have been watching the children while my parents are also away on an adventure." It was always something with them, even with grandchildren they still disappeared for weeks at a time before returning from where ever they explored last. She did nod her appreciation towards the jade bowls though as Myriana started wrapping everything up. "Your inventory updated, I really like everything." She complimented the shopkeep before handing over coins and looking towards Raff. "Everything looked nice, right? We'll probably come back in the future for more figurines if things go well."

Raff nodded firmly, determined to show not only her mothers that she was big enough to take care of such a fine piece of work. She certainly didn't want to come back here just to tell this nice lady that she had broken something so pretty that she had surely worked on... After all, this was a friend of her mother's! That would make it even worse! "Mother says we'll get a case for it to help keep it safe, too."
The prompting question earned another, more vigorous nod. "There's lots of really pretty things here. Even the bowls!" Exciting? Maybe not. Pretty? Definitely. "Mother says I can get more pretty things from here if I can keep this one safe; which I'm definitely gonna do!"

"Oh is that right?" Myriana laughed, "Then I'll leave you to it! Take care of the little spotted one so that we can give him a friend next time." She teased playfully before handing over a bag with the carefully packed purchases to Noelani who thanked her. Once they were settled, Noelani nodded towards Raffrdeigh. "We can head to the carpenter's shop next, I think he should have some spare cases on hand that we can use for this." She advised quietly, her expression bright as she went back outside towards the rest of the shops. It truly was a beautiful day to just wander around and Noelani was thankful that she could do something like this with her family. It was so much different from being secluded and sheltered all those years ago when she was growing up. The hybrid smiled as she simply enjoyed the ocean breeze, her hand drifting down towards her daughter so that she could guide them to their final stop before returning home. After all they couldn't stay out all day, not when they had family waiting for them with curry.

Raff watched the items get packed away, unable to keep the grin off of her face. Even the adults treated it with care. Imagine what Ziocite would say when he saw she had gotten such a fancy item! He was sure to be at least a little jealous! With a pleased little chortle in the back of her throat, she waved politely to Myriana and headed outside. There, she took the offered hand and resisted the urge to skip along. She didn't want to knock into her jellyfish!
She couldn't help glancing often at the package Noelani carried though, making sure it was safe and planning ahead to think of the safest place in the house that she could display it.
