He sighed and bought the mirror.. as well as another one for Kai that he got wrapped special and handed to the other male. "A present, for showing me around." He wasn't sure he would use his mirror on an adventure but maybe he would give it a go? Might it up his charisma and charm perhaps? Not that he particularly needed help, with his father's face. He also bought a multi pouch and more than enough rope. Because you could never have too much rope. The pouches he stuffed with spices with room left over for the moakai sort.

"Oh yeah it's no worries. Really I should be thanking you," Kai laughed, patting Kala on the arm. He was a nice guy, and he had enjoyed their discussion so far. He hadn't expected to spend his time in the market together with someone, but he had appreciated the experience all the same. Especially given Kala had traveled! He was a little envious, but soon he would be traveling too! "We should get a snack before we part, yes? Or maybe look at one more shop?" he hummed, pointing to a random shop. "That one."

Kala peered at the shop in question, he couldn't quite tell what they sold yet but he was willing to go along for the ride. He was having so much fun in this new place with his new friend...at least it felt like they were friends and he really hoped Kai did visit him in Matori. "Okay!" He followed right along. Kai was like a force of nature and Kala really enjoyed his personality.

Kai grinned as he wandered over, pleased when he spotted pretty bracelets and trinkets. "I think we need some of these. We could get matching ones. Because we're friends, obviously," Kai stated, picking out a few and purchasing them before Kala could disagree. "Here, here. Take this. Now we can have more pretty things."

"Obviously," he grinned, pleased that he had so swiftly made a new friend. "I would like that." He was very happy. He looked adoringly at his new bracelet and immediately put it around his left wrist. "Now I'll have a reminder of you when we part and you will remember to visit me in Matori." He grinned. "Thank you Kai." He remembered his manners. "For this I treat us to dinner, does that sound okay?" He was a walking bottomless pit, he was still growing as Kai should be as well. "Where would you like to go for dinner?"

"Yes! A reminder of new good friends!" Kai smiled back, holding up his own bracelet to show off. At the mention of dinner he tilted his head, looking up and down the street as if to consider his options. "Uhhhhh. I like food. I am not exactly picky. As long as it's not too messy! Wouldn't want to get anything on my clothing! I guess we can walk and consider on the way," he replied, setting off towards the promise of food.
