The stomp connected and Ramona flopped for a moment, clutching at her arm while her mouth opened in a silent scream. In her corner, Rex leaned against the apron studying her closely. When she stopped moving on the mat, laying on her side and grabbing her elbow, she looked over at her bother, dreading the pain he would give if this torment continued for much longer.

Now that Ramona was focused on her elbow, and apparently her brother; Grace opted for some more impact. She dashed across the mat to the closest edge of the ring, leaping just before she got there. Landing on the middle rope, Grace leapt off the ropes using their tension to give her more height for her springboard moonsault.

Ramona let go of her elbow and had just made it onto her back just in time for Grace to come down on her from the moonsault. All of the air as thrust out of her and she caved in on herself in agony, silently coughing and trying to find the strength to start moving again.

When the momentum is on your side you can easily develop a tunnel vision. You can sometimes get ahead of yourself. Grace did just that. Rather than hooking Ramona's leg and going for a pin attempt right away while she was stunned, Grace got up. She grabbed Ramona's ankles and pulled her into a prime spot in the center of the ring. Crossing the ring after that, Grace bound the full length of the ring and ran up the turnbuckles balancing on the ropes for the length of time it took her to leap into a mighty backflip. She was coming down with her Moonsault dive bomb! It was too late, the very last moment when she realized her mistake, as she completed her rotation and saw...

When Ramona was dragged, something started to wake in her. Stir. There was the mental image of a snake. A viper. It's tail resembling a spider so that it could attract more prey. Lure them in. All of her synapses started firing again. Through a blur of pain and sudden adrenaline, she saw Grace leap from the top rope. That was it. In an instant, she exploded off the mat to catch Grace in the air with a spear just as fast and violent as a viper strike.

Ramona was crouched, coiled up like a snake poised to strike. There was nothing Grace could do, even if there had been time. Ramona's leap drive her directly against Grace's momentum, and won out. With a whumpf, the air was driven out of her. Grace was flipped over again by the impact and landed hard on her back, Ramona's weight driving her into the mat with a thunderous crash. The stadium vibrated as fans roared with excitement, feet stomped and chants rose up, all of this was drowned out to Grace whose entire world rang.

Ramona got to her knee after landing the spear and looked over at Rex. The pair stared at each other for a moment before Rex nodded. Ramona got up and would attempt to grab one of Grace's arms and straighten it out. If she managed to do so, she would attempt to drop her knee down onto Grace's elbow.

Grace's entire world had been rocked by that spear, it was possibly the hardest impact she had ever taken. She rocked slightly on the mat, but had no time to process what had happened, let alone recover from it before Ramona was giving back in kind what Grace had given to her. The stomp on her elbow drew out a shocked cry of agony, and she pulled her elbow close holding it against her chest.

Ramona stared down at Grace and moved toward her legs. She stood above her for a moment before attempting to grab and lift one of Grace's legs. If she managed to without much trouble, she would attempt to deliver a kick to the back of her knee with the toe of her boot. She knew that if she wanted to claim a victory that she was going to have to make certain that the high-flyer was grounded.

Ramona was very clearly working on taking Grace apart at the joints, and she was right to do so. As a cruiserweight who specializes in lightning fast attacks, her joints were of the upmost importance. Grace was also entirely at Ramona's mercy at the moment, she was still recovering from having her own finisher momentum turned on herself, and now her elbow and knee were both in agony.

Ramona hesitated for a moment before turning her attention to the other knee and attempting to land a series of stomps to it.

The brief moment of hesitation was heavenly, but it was just that, a brief moment. The stomps to her other knee kept going and forced a desperation in Grace. She couldn't just lay there and let Ramona destroy her knee. She flailed trying to get her legs away from more stomps while scrambling for the ropes.

Ramona stopped the stomps and followed...stalked...as Grace scrambled for the ropes. Something in her was taking over. Grace's friend was taking a back seat to the violent predator she was told to be. As Grace got to the ropes, Ramona would attempt to help bring her to her feet. If she managed it, she would attempt to deliver a violent knife edge chop to her chest.

Grace had only just made it to the ropes when she felt Ramona's hands dragging her up to her feet, and just like the Grace was now the one pressed against the ropes getting chopped to the chest. She was on her feet however, and that was an improvement. If I only she could summon the wherewithal to escape Ramona's new vicious attitude.

Ramona would take a step back and cant her head to the side as she looked at Grace. A moment later and she would quickly step back and attempt to hit Grace with a superkick.
