Marcus was taking it back to basics, a recommendation from his uncle earlier in the evening. Now to continue the wear down, as Marcus quickly goes to his corner and tags in Blaze.
As Marcus steps out onto the apron, Blaze steps into the ring. Measuring his man, Blaze looks to drop an elbow across the chest of Erynys

He saw the elbow drop coming and he did his best to roll out of the way. He struggled to his feet and looked to swing the momentum back into his favor by attempting a running knee.

Blaze's elbow strikes only the mat, and he lets out a slight hiss as he sits up after, only to be knocked to the mat with a running knee

He shook off the impact as it jarred his neck from the landing. Thinking quickly, he looked to continue the onslaught with a few rapid fire repeated stomps to Blaze's head while he grabbed onto his arms

the mistake here was grabbing Blaze's arms first when he's still pretty fresh. As soon as Erynys grabs him, Blaze in turn would pull back, attempting to bbring him off balance and drop him across the middle rope

It was too little too late that he realized his error as he was dropped throat first onto the second rope that knocked the air out of him.

Blaze rolls to his feet and looks to put his knee to the back of Erynys' head to choke him against the ropes. totally illegal but hey, they're here to win by any means necessary

He squirmed as the rope was shoved harder and harder against his throat. His hands found the boot and tried to pry it loose as the ref counted.

Blaze backs off before the 5 count, not intending to get disqualified, and lets the ref back him away. Not out of intimidation, but out of necessity to keep him out of view of Erynys and more importantly, Marcus.
Marcus would quickly move across the apron and attempt to clock Erynys with a boot to the side of the head before he can get off the ropes, a move the crowd would not be favorable towards

He coughed as the pressure finally eased up enough for him to start coughing and getting some air back into his lungs. He was just getting his wits about him when the boot from Marcus connected sending him back to the mat.

the boos rain down and Marcus quickly returns to his corner as the ref finally turns around. The ref is suspicious but he didn't see anything. all he knows is Erynys is on the mat.
Blaze comes back over and looks to hook Eyrnys leg for a quick pin attempt while he's dazed

Salem took a bit of a breather after Marcus kicked him unceremoniously to the floor, "Showtime" needing some time to recover after the war he'd had at the start of the night with Nuke! Getting back up on the apron, a newfound anger was in Salem's eyes as he stared down the men in the ring and man on the apron, chomping at the bit to get involved!

Before he knew it, he found himself in a pinning predicament and he was quick to kick out as the ref's hand hit the mat twice. He rolled away from Blaze and did his best to get to his partner.

Blaze isn't exactly able to stop the tag as Erynys is surprisingly quick to it, still he can get to his feet and prepare as Salem gets the tag
