"We kind of did. We hijacked what I think is her wagon, she bit me and I think she did-," He motioned vaguely to Aurick's butt, "-that to you so evidently we were loud. She reeks of the same alcohol, though, and beyond the head bump she looks fine. I think if we just get her comfy in the back it should be good."
With both men in agreeance, they started the process of lifting and adjusting their 'driver'. She stirred a bit, murmuring something under her breath, before ultimately going back to sleep. Something about her appearance kept nagging at Selim, though. It kept tugging, like he should know this until it finally struck him. "Aurick...this is Evana Trifelle. She was invited to see the troupe before deciding if she wanted to join..."
Miss Trifelle was akin to a Belrean prodigy when it came to magical illusions. She had stage presence like no other and despite many, many attempts to get her signed on at stationary theaters she preferred life on the road.
His mother would slaughter him over this.

"...We have to wake her up."
The more Selim spoke the deeper the pit inside of Aurick became. Not only were they a drunken nuisance but they'd put Selim's entire troupe's future at risk! Settling in next to Miss Evana, Aurick started out by gently tapping her cheek. "Miss? Miss you really need to get up if you can."
When she offered little more than a murmur Aurick took a deep breath and gave her cheek a harder thwack. That was enough for her eyes to fly open and her entire body to jerk up. She, much like the men before her, immediately groaned as the nausea kicked in.
"Woah, woah, it's alright; take a breath."
"...Aurick?"
Oh, well, at least she knew his name. That was good, right? "I'm right here, and so is Selim."
"....Last night was awesome. You remember flying, right? I don't think I can do that spell again...ah..." Her grin was so bright that it covered the horrified droop on his own face. "...So cool."
"We flew?"
"Yeah, and it was great."

They flew?! And he couldn't remember a lick of it! Apparently neither could Aurick because the entire time she was reminiscing about various spells his friend was growing paler. Either she was blowing smoke out of her bum or all of these things really did happen.
"My head really hurts though..."
When he heard that Selim refocused and settled into the driver's seat. He took up the reigns, as he'd done countless times growing up and got the team started. "Just stay awake with us, alright? Keep talking about last night and maybe try to remember how you made us fly. " If she could do that then they would really bring in the numbers.
"...I'll tell Aurick but I won't tell you."
Fair enough.

As the wagon ride got underway Evana started to grow quiet and Aurick settled her into a more comfortable position. While he was worried about whatever head injury she'd sustained he also didn't want to think about what they'd done last night. She talked about flying, trees that talked, a world that was shades of pink and sparkled...As she spoke he exchanged a few looks with Selim.
How much of it was the liquor? And how much was her illusions? With motion sickness kicking in he hadn't wanted to stress over it. Instead, he closed his own eyes and focused on keeping his breathing steady.
"If you need me to take over just let me know."

Instead of responding verbally Selim gave a grunt. If he opened his mouth again he knew he would be sick. At the very least the road back was well tended to which meant the wagon didn't jostle too much. Still, he had an inkling of where they were and that meant they were going to be on the road for the majority of the day.
Without much of a choice, he settled back into the seat as much as he could and prepared for the grueling trip. No water, nothing for his head, and no tea for his stomach; yeah, Selim was going to be a wreck when they rolled in.
