"Got it! Uh, should I do it here? Or should we move somewhere with more people around?" Natalil asked, glancing around like that was going to give her the answer to her questions. She could see vague shapes and movement, but not enough to tell if there was enough people nearby to make her little performance worth it. A small voice in the back of her head told her that if she was good enough, it wouldn't matter where she was. People would come see her regardless. She choose to ignore it though. Now wasn't the time to doubt her own abilities, not when she was with a friend trying to have fun.

Liylasa nodded, realized Natalil probably couldn't see that, then pat her on the shoulder instead. "That's perfect. We're not entirely in the middle of the path because I think that might be dangerous, but we're close to some stalls and other things. Do you think we need a collection thing? In case people want to toss you money?" Liylasa tapped her chin, feeling around in her bag until she located a little cup she had found on one of her walks. "Got it. Cup acquired. I'll set it out for you, you just get to dancing!"

Breathing in deeply, Natalil let herself focus on the noise around them. The sound of the wind, the soft unfocused voices of the people in the market, the ocean of waves against the sand. She had never needed music to perform. Not when there was music all around them, even if most people didn't hear it the same way she did. The natural music washed over and she began to move, the movement easy and flowing. She didn't let herself get distracted with keeping track of how many people were paying attention to her, even if she *really* wanted to know if her performance would bring any extra attention.

Liylasa wandered around the people as Natalil danced, listening in on what the others were saying as they wandered closer. So far there wasn't anything fun, just business talks and something about a kid being too rowdy. Ugh that was disappointing.
"Keep it up!" Liylasa called to her, wandering closer as a matori in a big floppy hat made his way over. He was whispering something to another matori, watching Natalil even as he discussed whatever secret he was dealing with.

She barely heard Liylasa's words, her mind completely focused on the sound of the music and the way her body moved to it. Every time she let herself go like this, she remembered why exactly it was that she found such comfort is the simple action. Dancing was freeing for her in a way that she couldn't quite describe, especially when compared to how she felt on a day to day basis. She did hope that she was helping Liylasa out, but the girl was smart enough that she didn't need any additional help from her.

Liylasa managed to listen in on a few of the distracted market goers, pleased that she'd obtained some more treasure hunting info that she could use for later. She tapped Natalil on the shoulder as she passed by one round, attempting to signal her that their distraction technique had worked out well. She was pleased to see her enjoying herself with everything going on, and that they both benefited from the dance.
"Good job," she whispered to her, watching as the crowd began to die down.

Natali came to a stop after slowing her movements, finding her way back to where Liylasa stood. "Did you find out anything interesting?" She asked, hopeful that her distraction had been distracting enough for the young treasure hunter. She'd never gotten to be a distraction for anybody before! It had been exciting.

"I did! Your help was vital to hearing about it too. Apparently there are supposed to be some treasures hidden up in the caves outside of town," Liylasa explained, patting Natalil on the arm. "You super helped me out."

"Oh that sounds fun! I wish I could go with you, but I hope you have a good time looking for all the treasure that is up there! I'm sure you'll discover all sorts of fun, weird things," Natalil smiled, patting Liylasa's arm in return. She doubted she'd be much help to her anymore. After all, she wasn't exactly the best at searching for treasure and all.

"I'll return with fun things to give you!!! It'll be great. It's too dangerous for a dancer to go in there, I don't want you to hurt your ankles after all, but if I bring things back you can at least feel what I've retrieved!" Liylasa explained. "But until I return you gotta promise to do more dancing and be safe."

"I'll keep practicing! I'll come up with a new routine to celebrate your return with a bunch of fun treasures," Natalil chuckled, a little sad to know that Liylasa was leaving already. She was a good fun even if they hadn't gotten to hang out a lot. She hoped to enjoy her company again soon.
