Katori nodded encouragingly. "I'm sure she'll do wonders, especially considering all the work you're doing to help prepare her." The hybrid gave Fiadah a small grin, nudging her slightly. "And it'll be nice to know that if you ever run into trouble in that particular area there may be a sermal ready to spring to your rescue." It was always best to think that they were living their lives out, raising families in the wild but never forgetting a friendly face from so long ago. Her mother had told her stories about rescues who ended up saving her in the wild before...so anything was possible.

"Oh? Maybe that's not my Ziya then." Teased Katori with a chuckle. "That one sounds too helpful though I suppose it wouldn't hurt that a pretty girl was involved, he does have his weaknesses after all." The hybrid shook her head playfully. "Well, if you do need to find him again then visiting the sanctuary or going up north is your best bet. Ziya visits us down south a couple times a year, if not a lot more lately because Ziya is learning about animal handling from my mother. He's helping raise raptrix and chiavi for his home village, if you ever need a mount." A group of hunters from the far north that relocated closer to the capital after some tragedy, that was as much as Katori knew other than the fact that Zyphire had finally settled and started a family with a huntress from there.

"It is mostly other tricks, like grabbing supplies for her whenever she's mixing up herbal remedies for animals or just standing on their legs to be cute." Offered Katori with a laugh at the antics of the Matori and her zanteer. She definitely would be welcome to the sanctuary, it was so obvious that she had so much of the same energy that was found in her family residing there. "I definitely hope you come to visit, Fiadah. If anything it'll be nice to have something else to tease Ziya about if I'm also around." It was a shame that she would have to go north soon, but the trip hopefully would be worth it. Surely she would be back within a year, if not earlier...hopefully.

"Well, that would definitely be a twist." Katori shook her head with amusement at the joke. Truly, she hoped that wouldn't be the case! "So far my mother and I haven't been eaten by any of our rescues out in the wild, so let's hope the luck continues with you." She nodded as she listened more to Fiadah, a small smile crossing her lips. "Well, we do have a few ourselves and I can always bother Ziya for an extra pup or chick. If anything consider it an exchange in good faith if our families ever work together on a rescue or something one day. I really am curious to see how we handle things similarly or differently. If you visit in the future then feel free to shadow anyone around the sanctuary, hopefully Ziya if he's there." It would be a good excuse to have Fiadah visit either way and then Ziya could have some company while learning from her mother! Oh she really couldn't wait to see how that would turn out, if so!

"Hehe, it's fine." Katori settled so that Flana could climb onto her lap, the hybrid gently rubbing her fingers over the damp fur. "It's been a while since I've been around a zanteer. I should visit Matori once I'm finished with some business up north. As it is the fire is nice, thank you for letting me linger here for a bit with you."

Katori nodded, a small smile lingering on her lips as she listened to Fiadah before explaining herself. "Well we don't do it often, but we did have a couple of mated pairs that were happier with a clutch then Ziya's village is full of hunters who rely upon chiavi and raptrix so we've been helping them out."

"I'm willing to take the risk. It won't be the first time I've nearly lost an ear." Teased Katori with a grin, happy to see that her offer was seriously being considered by Fiadah. "And you're welcome. It's the least I could offer for being allowed to enjoy your company today." Katori replied in return, settling in to play with the zanteer while listening to the crackling fire.
