Cyril actually chuckled at the conversation with the dage. “Sorry to disappoint you, Boris.” He apologized and the hybrid even swore that the dage’s ears seemingly flopped downwards a bit even as the beast leaned into Lotus for more pets. “We were going to practice here, Lotus. Do you think you can handle Boris and get him back to his pen?” Not that they had a set stall for him while traveling but there was a pen that Boris knew to stay within the range of, especially if Lotus wasn’t nearby. It was a wide enough enclosure that they had built around a small pond and several trees for his scratching pleasure and thankfully on the other side of this tent away from the crowds, just in case.
“I think I can.” Lotus smiled apologetically once more before glancing towards Harika. “But who is your guest, Cyril? I’ve never seen you bring someone here before.”

“Oh.” Harika blinked as the conversation was directed back towards her and away from Boris. She had been distracted studying the creature, looking over him and actually finding him rather cute now that she saw how fuzzy and gentle he was. “I’m a business partner of sorts.” She acknowledged with a nod towards Cyril. “I ran into him when shopping and asked him to model some outfits for me. I’m a seamstress and designer.”

Ah, here came the accusations. Cyril braced himself to explain that Harika was not here to play around but then she was already introducing herself. Was he disappointed that she didn’t seem to think anything else other than that she was here for business? Maybe, but then again he didn’t have time for such things no matter how cute a foreigner was. If anything it made him feel more comfortable working with her since she seemed so focused on their deal and not on flirting around like others would do. “What she said.” He shot Lotus a look as he spoke. “You know I’m not the type to waste time with others unless it is for work or something similar.”
“Fair enough.” Lotus pursed her lips before giving a slight shrug. “I suppose we’ll head off then.” She nudged her brothers who had finally joined them and the trio waved before convincing Boris with several treats to follow them away from the tent. Now that they were alone, Cyril let out a soft sigh and turned back towards Harika. “I suppose now is a good time to show you a true performance. Is that alright?”

Harika tilted her head slightly with a confused frown. Did she even want to know why Lotus was teasing Cyril so much? She had a feeling what it was about but figured it was best to not pursue the matter, especially once the trio left with Boris. “A true performance?” She blinked as they returned to business, the hybrid nodding at the idea. “Sure! Just let me get settled with my sketchpad in case I get inspired while watching you. I don’t want to waste any time designing, especially if inspiration hits during the action.” She admitted, grabbing her belongings and preparing to head to a seat so that she could watch Cyril’s performance.

What a strange woman. Cyril found himself chuckling softly under his breath as he went back towards the training area and grabbed his bladed fans. Soon enough he had lit them with fire, a perk of knowing magic in addition to being a performer, and once Harika was settled in with her sketchbook the hybrid began to perform. He was determined to give her an astounding performance, even if it was supposedly only practice, so that she could get a full glimpse of his skills and be truly inspired for the best outfit design possible.
