She'd actually forgotten about Ast. Subira would have to keep it in mind for when she returned home. Perhaps she could convince Ariya to go with her to take a look. If it was deemed close enough for the alk to travel to then it would be a good fit. "I'll have to look into Ast."
As her little brother apologized for being curious she chuckled. "It's alright Eurig. I would have been curious too." Subira likely would have sworn her siblings were lying if they told her no after such a long time away. "I know I didn't think things through when I left but I did manage to have impulse control over that." A laugh escaped her. "Most of the Alks that went didn't catch my eye and I had no desire to ask for a daughter on my own. I would like to have someone at my side when I approach the Mother Tree."
She squinted at her brother for a moment. "And you, little brother? Do you have someone?" Since he'd brought up the subject she might as well be nosy too.
"I am also done traveling. This is the farthest I will go anymore." Subira would make the trips to see her family and back but that was it.
