Marcus stumbles again as a second kick connects. Avari is definitely quick, as he hits the ropes and rebounds back with a clothesline that smacks Marcus in the chest. The big man stumbles again, but remains on his feet through sheer force of will

The clothesline connects, to a roar from the crowd. Avari's eyes go wide, however, as the bigger man keeps on his feet. He goes backwards against the ropes, hoping to come in with a second clothesline!

again the younger Fusion hits the ropes and bounces back with a clothesline, smacking Marcus across the chest and making him stumble back a couple more steps. The big man seems to be wobbly at this point but unwilling to go down

Struggling to get the man down, Avari switches up again. He tries to go around Marcus and drops down with a knee chop to the back of Marcus' left leg!

Marcus wasn't going down easy, but it's a little hard to stay vertical when your knee gets clipped from behind. the son of the Dragon drops to a knee here, not through any choice of his own

The crowd cheered as Avari kept on the move, the momentum clearly on his side. He maneuvered to the front of Marcus again, bounding off the ropes and attempting a running knee to his skull!

Marcus shakes his head a bit to clear it, and as he looks up, he spots Avari hitting the ropes again. This time, he intends to cut the smaller man off, as he leaps up at the last second and attempts to intercept him with a stiff clothesline of his own

Avari was on the move, ready to continue his flurry of attacks. He runs and bounds off the ropes, preparing his running knee and gets the momentum to-
Avari landed flat on his back and neck on the mat, dazed from sheer force of the clothesline that just rocked him. He looked up at the bright lights overheard, as he heard the crowd let out an audible 'Ooooh'

Marcus fell with that clothesline, but pushes himself back up to his feet again. he smacks his leg a couple of times to make sure the blood is flowing right before returning his attention to Avari, looking to pull him back up and give him a hard irish whip to the corner

Avari is dragged up to his feet and whipped hard in to the ropes, coming back at Marcus immediately.

Marcus got exactly what he wanted here, and looks to catch Avari in what might look like a bearhug at first, but he'd actually attempt to launch him across the ring with an overhead belly to belly suplex

For a moment Avari is having the life squeezed out of him. But that's just for a moment as his body is flung across the ring, as he turns in the air and lands hard on his tailbone.
His first instinct is to arch his back at the pain and then slide under the bottom rope to the outside.

Marcus rolls through to get back to his feet as Avari goes to the outside. Or maybe he threw him there. Either way, Marcus steps out of the ring as well, quickly going to pull Avari up and attempt to irish whip him into the steel stairs

The torment isn't stopping with Avari trying to lick his wounds, as he's dragged up and on to his feet again. The next thing he knows, he's flying at the steel steps, with all the momentum of a charging bull.
He goes crashing in to them, as the top half breaks off, leaving Fusion sprawled out on the mats. The fans on the outside are all looking down concerned as Marcus has the upper hand.

if there's one thing Marcus keeps in common with his legendary father, it's his preference to slow the pace of a match down and overpower his opponents. Now firmly in control, he rolls back in under the bottom rope, breaking the referee's count just in case, then rolls back out again. Again he goes to pull Avari up, and into another bearhug. Not to submit him, obviously, but to attempt to ram him spine first into the ringpost on the outside
