She nodded and rubbed Lysithea’s back, hoping it would bring her a little more comfort as she listened to what she had to say. It was hard to believe that anyone would love her words after years of being silenced, but it was easier now that she had friends who would listen to her.
“I am not sure,” she admitted. “I understand if you don’t want people around. I understand that you don’t want people to know your power. I’m afraid of something happening to you. I don’t want that. But I can also think of so many who would be relieved that there was someone else that could be sought out for help. If you’ve already helped purify, then imagine how many more…”
She was getting ahead of herself. And she didn’t want to pressure Lysithea into anything she wasn’t ready for.
“It is dangerous for the Negaverse to know. But imagine how crippling it would be for them to know that there is another Princess. Imagine how much hope it would bring to those trying to escape,” she offered. “You know we’ll support you. Have you told anyone else about your plans? Have you told Michel?”
It was a little weird asking about Michel because she didn’t know him. Not more than what she’d been told. He was Adria’s brother and it was his house they were living in and that he’d been in the Negaverse.
“He was trying so hard to find you. I didn’t know that he kidnapped Faustite before. But he didn’t kill him, right? And I know he would want to protect you. And if you were going to give Faustite a home after all of this… it might be good to prepare him I think. Unless Encke wants to be involved so he can bring Faustite home?”

“That…is true. Being someone that people can look up to…being someone who could inspire people to hope…that…does sound quite nice…I just. I’m scared that I’ll end up back there. Like Ganymede was…I…don’t want to go back there. Not ever. Not unless it’s to bring everyone caught by Chaos back out of there and into where they’re supposed to be…”
It was a lovely thought, but even she knew that it was wishful thinking.
“No, I haven’t told Michel. I guess I should, but. I don’t want him to tell me that it’s a stupid idea and I’m stupid for doing it or wanting it. He really hates Faustite…but.”
She bristled at the thought of Encke bringing Faustite home and gave Varuna a look. “Like hell he’s going to be kidnapping my brother. I’ll punch him in the nose before I let that happen. Absolutely not. Faustite is staying by my side until we find a place for him. What the hell, that had better not be that guy’s plan. God that makes me so angry just to think about. Do you really think that’s what he’s gunning for? He doesn't even know the guy. Not like I do.”

“You won’t end up back there. We won’t let that happen,” Varuna promised. “You being so hard on yourself and down on yourself is exactly what the Negaverse wants, you know. That’s what they do, isn’t it? It’s an infection. A poison. You said so yourself. You’re just still working to get the poison out of your mind.”
She blamed the Negaverse for a lot of things. She hated them, but if Lysithea wanted to give someone a chance then she would do her best to help her.
And if it failed and she was betrayed, then Varuna would just have to murder whoever hurt her.
She had to press her lips together so she wouldn’t smile at Lysithea’s sudden ire for someone else taking Faustite home with them.
“I’m not sure. But if you need someone to help convince Michel that we’ll keep things under control…” she hummed. “You have both been taken by the Negaverse and know how hard it is to get out. I think he would understand more than you realize,” she encouraged.

Lysithea nodded, though gave a sigh. “...I would like him there. I would like someone strong and…scary there just in case but. I’m so afraid that if Faustite knows...if he thinks that I don’t trust him…that he won’t trust me and the whole thing won’t work. He has to want it…and he’s trying hard to want it but I know he doesn’t. It’s. So stupidly complicated and my brain isn’t making it any better. But.”
Sighing, the Senshi paused for a second and half jokingly swooned in Varuna’s arms, snuggling closer once again. “...I’ll talk to him when I get home. The worst he can do is call me a fool for trusting Faustite again but. I can deal with it. Like I said. It’s the box I’ll die on and…damnit. I want him safe…”
She paused. “...Faustite, I mean. Michel is always safe. He’s. Like an ox. Strong and sturdy and all that…But. I hope he does. I’m so glad you’ll be there with me, Ru.”

Varuna held her up easily when she basically went limp against her, but that just gave Varuna an excuse to reach down to scoop Lysithea up into her arms bridal style.
“I’m sure if you talk to him and let him know your concerns, he’d do his best to help you,” she insisted, despite never having actually spoken to Michel before.
“I’ll always be here when you need me,” she promised, and hoped that Faustite didn’t break Lysithea’s heart.
