Emily placed her hand on her chest and gave her friend an I'm so touched look. "We have an established, years long friendship. And you don't have any children that I'd be cutting out of their inheritance. If you don't find someone else, then I'll take it on." Emily nodded to herself. It made sense, and it was just money, really. Being a semi-public figure could be just as much as a shield as it was a target.

"I'll have Dwight handle it." Honestly, anything truly techy was his realm. "If you let me involve him, that is. I can fully vouch that he's not part of Chaos. He's known my powered identity for several years now."

Resting her chin on her hands, Emily sighed, "You mentioned princesses earlier? I don't know anything about that. I'm only close with a couple senshi, honestly. Most of my time has gone into my world. But could you..." there was a speculative light in Emily's eye as she asked, "...tell me about the process of it all, when you know more?"

"Of course I'll be there. And...well, I think Order is probably the least organized group of powerful people you'll ever find. It's part of what it means for us all to be free, to act true to ourselves. But," she patted Celestina's hand, "...those powers come through when they're needed. Otherwise this city wouldn't even still exist. So as long as you need it bad enough and you mean it, things will work out."

A week. Eyes widening, Emily Slowly turned back to stare at Celestina, drowsily getting comfy on the couch. A. Week. This was midterms all over again. With a sigh, she sent Dwight an emergency text.





















Emily kept typing as her phone vibrated angrily on side and her friend took a nap on the other. Purification...

It seemed like it would be a lot more work than she'd ever considered, but in some ways, potentially easier than she'd imagined if it could be done in a single week. One week and Celestina could find her Happily Every After if things went right.
