Noelani nodded, the hybrid reaching over so that she could grab Ami’s hand. “I believe in you.” She stated with a smile. “I’ll do my best to support you because I want to see where your inspiration leads.” She wasn’t much of a builder herself and was far more capable of adventuring than creating new things like Ami, but that was why they had such good teamwork. She would find whatever materials and help Ami needed to complete her vision, that much Noelani was determined to do.

“Thank you.” Ami smiled and squeezed Noelani’s fingers. “This is rather exciting, isn’t it?” A laugh left her lips as she looked from the ocean and back towards her partner. Never had she imagined being in a foreign land with someone like Noelani and she most definitely hadn’t thought of a family when she started out all those years ago! Nanami truly felt blessed though and was thankful that the fates had guided her in this direction. Even if it had been terrifying at first she wouldn’t change anything for the world.

“A little scary, but definitely exciting.” Noelani chuckled as she thought about everything that the future held for them. Even if her stomach twisted with nausea now there was so much hope for the future that Noelani couldn’t help smiling. She couldn’t wait until her parents came home so that she could share the news with them and she definitely couldn’t wait to meet the little one! Please come quickly and safely. Closing her eyes and offering prayers to the gods, Noelani finally glanced back towards Ami. “I think my stomach is settled enough if you want to continue. We have a lot of work ahead of us.”

“Agreed, but we can do this.” Ami promised Noelani before moving away from the water so that she could help her companion back up the beach and towards the xaraan. Hopefully they were refreshed as well and by evening the familiar sight of Noelani’s home would show up on the horizon. They were so close! Already she could imagine another house sitting near the cliffs, a perfect home for their little family. Even though Ami was truly nervous about all of this, there was an excitement that made her steps so much lighter as she basically raced Noelani back towards the xaraan as the other woman seemingly ran forward as well. They both were truly excited and the energy around them was undeniable.

A little one with Ami’s eyes. That was all that Noelani could imagine as she raced towards the xaraan, the hybrid taking full advantage of the fact that she didn’t feel as nauseated anymore now that they had taken a break from riding. Her heart would truly be broken if it turned out that they weren’t actually expecting, but Noelani had the feeling that it was not a false hope. There was just something in her very soul that seemed to back up Ami’s words that they would have a little one in the near future. So far her feelings hadn’t disappointed her so Noelani simply held onto that hope as she mounted her xaraan and let out a playful yell before moving the mount forward, the wind whipping her hair around as she leaned into the movement and rushed towards home.
