[ Puleleiite 4 ] As her brother approached, Puleleiite nodded to herself before turning back her eye at her creation. She trusted her siblings to take care of the decorations, for now she needed to figure out how to dig down a bit and create a moat or underwater pool. Wading a little over to where the waves were coming in, she began to dig up the wet sand to create a river of sorts, which she learned early on was the best way to draw in water outside of a bucket. As she finished her little trench, the water began to wash up and settle around the castle in a little moat. She brushed her hands together to get the sand off and looked over at her siblings to see what they ended up doing.

Kala 4
Kala surrendered his loot willingly enough and helped find the right places for the right shells. As he had found a few fancy ones, they obviously couldn't just go anywhere on the magnificent castle, it had to look its absolute best. He smiled at the teamwork that was going on. He waved their nieces over to join them.
He was happy that he had been called over. Working together was always fun. He thrived in team environments.

Vaia 4 She did not thrive in team environments, but that was because for now she was a bit shy and preferred to read or write or draw or find shells but away from the others. The only one she wasn't really afraid of mildly was her sister but it was good that she was around family she was pretty sure these ones were okay. She wasn't sure what made her so nervous, her mother said it would pass with a bit of time.

Ha'ulili beamed as her brother relinquished his loot to decorate their sand castle, she was confident it would be worth it. She watched Puleleiite dig up a moat around the castle and once she was done she grinned; Before going back to decorating their sand castle. She paused and took a complete look at their sand castle and it looked so grand for a sand castle anyway. She both thrived at working in a team and independently.

Aua'lii took her sister's hand "come on, it's just family you will be fine" she said to her sister while holding her hand and walking over to where their aunts and uncle were. She figured the sand castle they were working on could be grander if all of them pitched in, she knew Vaia was more of the quiet and shy one of the two and only felt comfortable when they were together. [ Puleleiite 5 ] " It's a shame that this wont last forever." Puleleiite said with a bit of sorrow, looking at their hard work. She had learned early on that the tides were constant and anything created often was swept away so quickly. The waters were a powerful thing, and she understood why one of her father's tribe was so interested in the ways of the sea. Turning toward Aua'lii and Vaiavara as they approached, she smiled brightly. " Were almost done...maybe we can go to the salt candy stall?" she asked, glancing over in the distance where a vendor was selling candies to the families who often played at this time of day.

He was down for any and all adventures. He happened to have a whole bunch of energy and wasn't content to just sit and wait for life to happen besides salt candies sounded fun! They were deliscious to boot!
"Great castle guys!" He was happy that his shells had gone to good use instead of being piled up in his room like every other day. He planned on making little stone decorations for his parents and sisters' gardens.
He liked the salt candy stall even more because the painter's stall was right beside it, he loved looking at the paintings.
"Sounds fun to me sis!"

Vaia 5 She followed her sister to the castle then her face lit up when her Aunt mentioned the salt candy stall. She did like sweet things! "As long as my sister goes It sounds good to me." She didn't especially like being separated from her sister. She also hated crowds, though the salt candy stall was usually not too crowded. At least the rest of her family would be there too, the more family the better. She was not big on strangers yet, prefering to read than to commit to small talk. She held her sisters hand and looked hopefully at her Aunt Pel.

Ha'ulil stepped back to look at the full picture of their grand sand castle, that they had built, she was ecstatic that it looked so good but at the same time was a little sad that it wouldn't last very long when the ocean's tide picked up and washed all their hard work away. "It kinda bad that once the ocean tide rises it will wash our glorious sand castle away," she said frowning a bit at her siblings.

Au'lii looked back at her sister and smiled at her, giving her reassurance that she was there. She knew she was the quiet and shy type at the moment, hopefully, as they got older she would be able to break out of her shell. But, for the time being, she was Au'lii was okay with sticking right beside her sister until she felt completely comfortable and she would know that once Vaia let go of her hand, it was one of those non-verbal cues that she had developed in regard to interactions with her twin.
At the mention of going to the salt candy stall, she perked up as well "I think that is a good idea to do, I'am feeling a little peckish" she said with a smile and looked back at Vaia to make sure she was still doing okay.

[ Puleleiite 6 ] She smiled at her brother's exclamation of the hard work, nodding in agreement. It was a great job, as always when they worked together. Too bad the twins didn't want to play, surely they might have made it even bigger. But at least they had joined them, and were excited for some candy. " That's ok, Ha'ulil, we'll just make another one next time." She added with a smile. " Last one there is a rotten snaptrotter egg!" She said with a laugh and took off running toward the vendor, but not too fast. It was more fun to race close with one another.

Kala tore off after his sister, a run was always welcome! It was quite bracing anyway. The wind tore through his hair and over his ears defening him to all but the thump of feet and mad giggling.
It was sad that one of the twins was so shy, the rest of the family didn't seem to suffer from that. He knew he could handle people or solitude both were good things.
The vendor came in sight and he felt joy at being young and able to play with his family, at salt candy, and great views, at sea breezes and giggles in the air. Life was good.

Vaia 6 Vaia sedately follwed, not rushing but not dawdling exactly. Candy would be good, so long as her family didn't eat it all before she and her sister got there. She couldn't help who she was at this age. Loud noises were startling and she preferred her sister, books and plants...in that order. But her family were pretty cool. She admired them greatly, she just wasn't able to be like them quite yet. So free and carefree. She preferred to be in control and as a youngling that didnt happen much. So she hid and read alot.

Ha'ulil nodded her head looking at her sister "okay, hopefully, we can get the twins to help build next time, then it will be a more majestic castle" she said before chasing after her sister and brother towards the salt candy cart "hey! wait for me" she said and followed them but giving a quick look back towards the twins to make sure they were okay.

Au'lii blinked and was perfectly fine keeping pace with her twin, as long as they kept up with their aunts and uncle. She used her free hand to pat the top of her sister's hand lightly and looked at her before speaking up "Are you doing okay?" she asked. Her parents told them to look after each other when they were out, and she would do that.
