He grinned back before continuing to eat his hard earned morning breaKfast, he hummed to himself as he ate his breakfast and rested his free hand on his stomach. Now he had to be extra careful with doing his day-to-day routine,
“I’m so excited but kinda scared but also kinda nervous” he admitted to her before setting his fork down and drinking some of his milk “I hope we will be good enough parents for them” he said.

"Me too to be honest, but ultimately we will be the best parents for our child becuase it is half of us and all unique on its own. Who better to look after us than us? I am not worried, you will be the best Dad." (Dadmom? Momdad?)
She dug into her own food, also suddenly starving, like her body wanted to store the energy for later when the kids started running and she needed it.
"I will have new helpers in the garden...eventually."
She made him some more food. "Remember you need to eat more."

He thought about thoughtfully “you make a very good point, my love” he told her and frowned slightly “ I hope so, there is no manual for raising children, so it will definitely be a learning experience” he said thoughtfully. He finished off the breakfast he made himself.
He nodded his head “yes you will, when they reach the age that they can help you in the garden” he told her and blinked as she gave him more food “ah, thank you” he said before digging into the food she gave him.

"Judging from what my parents say, there is no right or wrong but people will try to tell you. Everyone has their opinion. But since there is no book to say we are doing it wrong, so long as we are acting in their best interests and being clear about the why we are doing things we should be okay."
She was both nervous as excited and it was somewhat complicated in her head and heart but she was overjoyed.

He soberly nodded his head "that is true, everyone does have their opinions on proper child-rearing practices, but we should just take it with a grain of rice and be like 'We appreciate your opinion but at the end of the day, we are the ones raising them' " he said shrugging a bit before helping himself to another helping of the food Akea offered him. He frowned a bit "does...that mean I won't have my body back for a bit?" he asked her.
"Though, I won't be able to tend to your garden like I always do in the morning before you go out. Technically, I can but limited" he told her, her poor garden. That was also part of his day-to-day routine tending to Akea's garden before she either finished breakfast or woke up.
