Barihn lazily perked up at the whistle, yawning with every pull of his bow. Already pleased with his contribution to the game they played he instead focused on following where Anahita wandered off to. With the bandits mostly drawn towards them he made for the trees as well, casually walking across a branch while settling his bow back onto his back where it belonged. He hummed a little tune, empty hands feeling for anything fun in the tree as he looked for Anahita. "Heeeey. I think we made a good team. You probably won the competition though, huh?" He laughed, lifting his shoulder in a shrug. "Oh weeeeell. What now? Are we trying to scare them off? Interrogate them?" Barihn would be pleased to do anything at this point.

"Honestly?" Anahita surveyed their work, the girl turning to her companion with a grin. "Good work, Barihn. You earned a recommendation from me if you ever need work as a ranger." She praised him, even using his name to show that she actually paid attention instead of discarding it like she would do with most strangers in passing. There was a flash of pride in her gaze, a glint of victory at the question of winning but she behaved and only gave a slight shrug as if passing off the feat as nothing new. "Well, I was in the middle of shopping and I would prefer to not get too invested with bandits right now." She admitted after a moment, pondering the situation as the wounded men rolled about in the clearing with curses and moans. "How good are you at making knots? If we can tie up this mess then I think I'm ready for some tavern food." She finally asked after making her decision, thinking to leave the tied up bandits to the local guardsman so that the village could deal with their fate.
Once they tied them up then she would probably enjoy a meal and return to shopping, unless Barihn needed something from her. Not that she knew what to expect, this whole situation had been a complete twist on her plans as she hadn't been expecting to partner up against bandits...that was for certain.

"I'm good at several types of knots," Barihn replied, winking at her before feeling around in his bag for the needed rope. Once his fingers brushed the coarse threads he tugged, unwrapping it and hoping it was enough to bind the bandits. He'd kept it for binding downed prey and hadn't exactly planned for larger, but it would have to do! At the mention of ranger recommendation Barihn felt his entire form tense, the recollection of his father's disapproval giving him pause. If he could shove it in his face he would, but it wouldn't help anything. "Time to tie up some problems," Barihn sung more, commencing the meticulous knot work. There would be no getting out of here! "Hopefully you can get back to your shopping after this! Or something more exciting."

Anahita chuckled. "Good to hear." She replied, grabbing her own rope so that she could help with tying up the bandits so that the local guard could round them all up. "More exciting? I don't know, I think this is good for the day." She replied after a moment. Truly, this was the last thing that she had expected to happen even though she had fun every moment they were working together. It was part of the reason she had stayed with the rangers, it was thrilling to fight against people like this.
"I will be going to get food though. If you're hungry feel free to tag along." She wiped her hands against her leggings, tucking the remainder of her rope back into her belongings and straightening the rest to prepare for her walk back into town. They could alert the guards on the way, Anahita was doubtful that any of these bandits would be doing much for the rest of the afternoon. "If not then I'll see you around sometime maybe. I'll be in the area on escort missions." She raised a hand towards Barihn in farewell, starting back on the way towards the tavern and taking her time to walk away just in case he did decide to join her.

Barihn looked around the area, not really remembering why he had come to the market in the first place...no matter! He didn't have anything better to do, and at the mention of getting it his stomach did rumble a bit. Working up an appetite after dealing with some problems was bound to happen. Barihn looked back at their combined handiwork and nodded, pleased with the finished rope project.
"Yeah, food sounds good. If you don't mind a tag along," he grinned, watching her start off already. "I should treat you for your win after all." He picked up his pace as he spoke, ensuring his bow was secure and bag was settled as he followed.
