Theriar 8 He didn't remember his siblings if he'd ever had any. But he could kind of understand where she was coming from her brother might well be her biggest competition one day or any number of others in her family. None of them could be described as weak willed. He wasn't sure what to say to her, sibling rivalries could be difficult. Greatest ally or worst enemies they still deserve respect. "The same spots are on display on both of your visages. He no doubt will be just as beautiful and terrible one day, best to remember little one that you are stronger together." He adjusted the sail to catch better as the wind turned. "It's not an easy path Kechiri but for those that are brave and smart, it can be the right one, don't lose your heart."

Kechiri 9 Her grandmother had once told her about her and her grandfather's ancient totems. Her grandmother was an Orca. dreamseeker, barrier crosser and her grandfather had a radaku like legendary creature called a coyote a shapeshifter, a bringer of change. She had been told that her father and anti Einsol were known as the wolf twins. But what was she? She looked over the rail to see a tall dorsal fin split the surface. She had it, she was a shark. That was her destiny to eat the sea or at least the pirates in it. She had a feeling that his words would echo later so she stared off into nothing and pretended like she hadn't heard it.

Theriar 9 He smiled at her. They both knew that she had heard him, she would understand one day and her pride would not get in the way, he was convinced. She would do the right thing despite the glint in her eyes. She had an interesting and scary family. He had heard her father in the right mood wasn't much better. Kiyelt was genuinely nice as were Honi and Thal but some of them were quite guarded. Oh to be young and rash again, he could see the fires burning in her eyes. Probably from losing the sister that held half of her heart, someone had stole half her heart. She was all the more ruthless for it, least anyone else got to close again. With time she might get over it, getting her sister back would help.

Kechiri 10 How much longer until she was standing on her own deck, in command of her own crew with months spent on the water . They would be more protection detail so they could have lives to an extent there was something quite attractive about this. She took the time to pick out her own kinfa eggs. "Now we will always able to communicate. Never abandon me teacher." A student teacher bond was truly a special thing, besides her parents and her sister, Theriar knew the most about her. She trusted him. It was mutually beneficial to stay in each other's good books.

Theriar 10
He wondered how she would change as a sea and wind wore at her. The lifestyle, the danger, the stress the battles; a pirate's life was never easy. "I wouldn't dream of it Kechiri." He would do whatever it was for her own good. He would protect his friend's grandchild if necessary, sometimes even from herself. That was his privilege as her first captain. She would not surpass him until age failed him at which point he would be lounging with Onora and sweet retirement, raising his children. It was a nice thought.
