He wasn't going anywhere, he prepared everything he could and then got into bed behind her, to support her during the buildup. Tears streamed down his face as she struggled and worked hard to bring their child into the world. He held on for dear life when she got a deathgrip on his ankle. Eventually he moved in front of her to help with the birthing that was more than immenant.

It was easier than the first time but it still hurt. Thankfully Ushi was making all the right moves. She was so grateful he was there. He was all she really needed so long as their wasn't a problem, in which case his twin wasn't all that far away. But Ushi had helped with a lot of births on the ranch. She was not worried.
'Ushi it is time."
She dug down deep and kept breathing and brought their baby into the world.

Just like that, Ushi was holding he new baby. He cleared the mucus and cut the cord. Bundling up the baby, a flood of emotions pounded him. "Sae you did it! So healthy!" He placed the baby on her chest and kissed her brow for a long time. He was so incredibly proud of her. He admired the new little face. Yes!! His family was a member bigger now!

She held her new baby, just ecstatic but she felt another storm brewing. "Ushi, there are two! We have twins!"
And indeed there was another baby coming. She pushed hard and soon their were twin screams in their formerly quiet bedroom.
She gasped with relief. "I think our healer missed something~" She grinned fiercly, taking a deep breath before admiring her children.

Ushi 10
She had no sooner spoken then he was called to duty again, welcoming their fourth child into the world. He was a lucky b*****d that's what he was!
He did the same routine for baby number two, but this one held onto and placed baby number two on its Mother. He didn't even have time to notice gender yet. Skin on skin was best especially just after being born, specifically Mom's skin. He was a solid back up and they would share holding them, but for now she deserved to see them both before her. She had done most of the work after all.
