"I’ll do my best" Athene said quietly as he scanned Alastor into his contacts in turn, because whilst he wasn’t one to particularly go looking for trouble, it hadn’t stopped him from finding himself tangled up in trouble in the past
It probably didn’t help that he was friends with Liryn, not with the small mauvian being so impulsive - or with the other being quite willing to charge head first into trouble–
But Athene had already acknowledged a long time ago that his mauvian friend was quite probably the source of a good many of his grey hairs - and he was likely to be the source of a great many
future ones as well.
"I hope that you’ll stay safe too" he added as he sent his phone back into subspace and gave Alastor a small wave and a final quiet smile.
"And I also hope that you have a pleasant evening for what’s left of it" he added quietly before disappearing into the evening.
And Athene had a bit more patrolling to do before he would call time for the evening, but there were some brownies with his name on it (or at the very least fresh baked and thus available) for when he finally reached home for the night.
