Van? Car? Well, whatever it was, he nodded and smiled. “All right. Coffee or tea, I don’t mind which, as long as there’s food, too. I’m making up for lost time.” A lot of lost time.
He didn’t know how well off Solaris’ home was, but Alastor was nearly unlivable anywhere he could reach, so he was glad for all of the conveniences of Earth–and Michael to take care of him so he didn’t have to worry about how he could afford it.
Although, placing bets on himself in combat circles had been relatively lucrative back when he’d first started, and now that he’d managed to put on some weight and was back to being healthir, he imagined he could have gotten along just fine returning to that.
But, he didn’t have to, and he was glad she seemed to be doing all right for herself, too.
“Get home safely tonight, Solaris. I’m looking forward to catching up with you already.”

There were so many things to talk about. So many.
Like the van, and all her plants in there. And her time staying with Metis, and the help she'd gotten from the other woman. And traveling!
Those were just the recent topics.
Though she was someone who liked to give hugs whenever, she held off for now, instead just beaming to Alastor as she hummed. "You, too. Travel safe. I'll text you soon!"
She was nearly bouncing foot to foot as she turned and headed back her way, scooping up her bag as she went. Damaged art supplies didn't mean anything. She waved back at him, utterly delighted and happy.
Whatever he'd mentioned about that war, she'd ask about again, and she'd make sure she was there to help. And have drinks, and chat... and keep moving forward, because for whatever reason they were still here...
They'd have to make the best of it, of course.
Kyuseisha no Hikari Think that's a fin for this! <3
