"Best case scenario we took each other out, and either way she wins because we still ended up like this." He may not have wanted to appear weak, but he still rose to the challenge she set. In a lot of ways Imri could empathize, though that didn't mean he had to in that moment. Right now he wanted little more than to take Buttercup and leave, but his body needed the rest.
Imri raised his hand to catch the moss and give it a speculative look before cautiously applying it. He'd been struck with keldari venom a few times so surely whatever this was laced with would take a little longer to kick in. If it even is. "Don't say her name; you haven't earned it." When he was sure the moss was doing it's job, the hybrid started to gingerly pick himself up from the ground. "Just because I'm grateful you didn't kill her doesn't mean I'm happy you had her."

Cat spit towards the ground in frustration, a hint of blood showing from where the inside of his cheek had gotten cut during their fight. "I refuse to let her see me like this. I'll wash up or something." He protested with a huff, the hybrid crossing his arms stubbornly. "There a place near here?" It was far enough away from the main encampment that Cat hoped there was something secluded where he could take care of his fresh wounds before confronting Alyx. On top of that the last thing he wanted was for Yazeed to catch him looking like this! Talk about the lecture on top of his burning frustration and humiliation!
A cocky grin did cross Cat's lips despite the stranger's snarky words. "What? Does that mean you want me to earn the right to say the name? Want to meet up again, is that right?" He teased even though every part of his body ached from their fight. If anything Cat would gladly cross paths again with the other hybrid if it meant another good fight like that one. Something about it had just been so exhilarating! Still, he couldn't help shaking his head at the stranger's explanation. "Well maybe next time keep her at home, what if someone else had found her slithering around in this area?" He quipped back with a roll of his eyes. What if Alyx had been the one to pick up this Buttercup? Talk about a different story then!

Buttercup gently made her way into a more comfortable spot underneath some of Imri's dreads. Occasionally when he spoke she would bounce a little, though the Keldari seemed used to the reaction. "...There's a river downwind." And that was about as much useful information as he was ready to give out in the moment. If he gave too many details he may very well follow the Aishan hybrid down to the water and drown him in it.
"No, I don't." Imri started the process of pulling himself up. It wasn't the swiftest or the most commanding, but he did it anyway to prove a point. Either to the other hybrid or himself, he wasn't for sure. "I don't want to see you again and if you're smart you won't be here for long." He was content to leave it at that, until the stranger made the comment about keeping her at home and Imri snapped, "Do I need to pop another of your balls?"

"Hmm..." Cathan stretched as he stood, the hybrid putting on a display despite the pain that echoed throughout his whole body with every movement. "You'd have to fight me again to even try." He replied with a smirk, obviously not the brightest one in the area to take the warning to heart. He was simply too busy enjoying the challenge that the other hybrid posed to him. "Good luck if so, I'm definitely down for another sparring match. You have to admit it was a good one even if you don't want to see me again." He was most admittedly a fool and the teen's bright blue gaze was happy, not fearful or upset, by the other hybrid's words. "Cathán, but you can call me Cat by the way. You don't have to introduce yourself right now if you don't wanna, won't be necessary since I can get it from you next time."
"And unless you're going to stink up the area, I'd suggest coming along for that bath. No harm no foul and we can watch each other's backs." Cathán smirked, his confidence showing despite the abrasiveness of the other hybrid. "Or wash if you're into that. Don't mind showing some appreciation after everything we just did together, despite Alyx trying to have us rip each other apart I rather enjoyed it." Still, he simply waved a hand and gave the other hybrid a wink as if goading him to follow him as he turned and started towards the direction of the supposed river where he could clean up.

The line between bravery and stupidity was sometimes translucent, as it was in the case of the hybrid before him. As he boasted and teased Imri's eyes squinted further. Was he expected to play along? The last thing he truly wanted was to see this boy again so he didn't bother with a response. He didn't want to hear his name but he did, he didn't want to be this close to a jabbering fool, but he was and at the very least he wasn't expected to introduce himself when clearly he wouldn't have.
Goddess today was terrible.
"No." And with that singular word, Imri huffed with exhaustion (though, not necessarily the physical sort) and started to return to his home. Buttercup adjusted herself on his shoulders as he walked, her little head peeping out from between a curtain of white dreads as to wave goodbye to Cat in her own way.
