Drako has a moment to breathe, and it's time for him to get back into this. He ducks under the chop, attempting to get around behind Cartwright and roll him up into a school boy pin

See this is why Cartwright did what he could to keep the pressure on! Drako gets a moments separation and is able to slip under Cartwright's chop, followed by rolling his shoulders down on to the mat. Cartwright scrambles to kick-out at one in the center of the ring.

to say he expected a win there would be a lie, but he had to go for it. Cartwright kicks out quickly and Drako has to stay on him as well, quickly looking to meet him on the rise with dropkick to the face

Drako shows that he can also keep the pressure on as he dropkick's Cartwright across the chest, not allowing The Lad to get back to his feet. Cartwright is sent backwards to the ropes, which he rolls under to have a time-out behind members of his security team.

Drako gets back to his feet as Cartwright rolls out of the ring. He flips his hair back out of his face as he glares out at Cartwright and his team, but this time, he's not going out after him. He rubs his throat absently as he waits for the ref to begin his ten count and Cartwright to likely get back inside

Drako doesn't see the need to rush back in after just sending a clear message to the boss. Cartwright whispers something to the security team before he steps back in to the ring. Cartwright looks to meet Drako and send him through the ropes!

Cartwright finally gets back in and comes right at Drako. his attempt to throw him through the ropes is a tad easy to spot, and Drako quickly attempts to twist around behind him again, this time for a victory roll pin attempt instead

Drako thinks he knows what Cartwright has in mind, but...this is all 4D chess yeah! Drako isn't going to be pushed around so easily though and surprises Cartwright with a second roll-up. Cartwright kicks-out at two and scrambles to the outside of the ring to be comforted by the security team.
JR: "I don't think Cartwright likes the way that this is going King!"
King: "It won't happen again JR! I can sense these things!"

Drako is almost amused. There might even be the faintest trace of a smirk on his face after Cartwright kicks out and runs out of the ring again.
"I thought you were gonna show the world you were better than me, eh Carty?'
the Soaring Dragon keeps his eyes on his opponent as he makes the verbal taunt. He's content to wait and move at his own pace

Cartwright slaps the ring apron with both hands in frustration as Drako taunts him. How dare he!
Cartwright tells the security team that he's got this as he steps in to the ring again. Cartwright approaches Drako and rushes towards his legs for a takedown!

Drako has gotten a bit of the result he wants. Cartwright is frustrated and offended at the audacity of the Soaring Dragon. Good, and now he wants to actually wrestle, coming in with the double leg takedown. Drako allows him to go for his legs, but only to attempt to catch him in a front facelock and force him down to the mat and hold him

Damn it! Drako catches Cartwright around the head and begins to apply pressure around it as they fall to the mat, Cartwright going face-first. Cartwright instantly begins to flail his arms about, looking for a way to loosen Drako's hold!

as Cartwright might have remembered if he'd paid attention to the opening round of the world title tournament, Drako is quite comfortable in a grappling situation. Time to really wear him down, Drako attempt to roll, a nice wrestling Gator Roll to keep Cartwright down

Cartwright is rolled back and forth a couple of times by Drako as he struggles to loosen the grip. Cartwright gets rolled close enough for him to stretch a foot towards the ropes in an attempt to break the hold!

upon stopping the rolling, Drako didn't realize they ended up so close to the ropes until the referee gets involved. Now it wouldn't be right if Drako didn't return the earlier favor when Cartwright decided to choke him, so he gives it til a 4 count before he releases the hold and moves back to the center of the ring to stand up, eyes locked on Cartwright still.
