He felt like they had to have a database of recruits. There was almost no way they didn't. They knew everything and could just pull anyone who wasn't a general or eternal at any time. There was no way that they could just do that without at least some central context as to who was who that got funneled to the generals, right?

But would he get access?

"Maybe that's the goal. Convince the Negaverse I'm worthy of an eternal promotion, get the Eternal promotion, and then try and figure out if my family is part of this mess." Fulgurite was fairly sure that he couldn't just ask to see the supposed list of recruits. What excuse would he even have for it?

If he wasn't eternal, he at least wouldn't need to give as many excuses, unless he would have to go through the general sovereigns. That would be its own issue. He deal with that later if this was the route he used to deal with this problem.

What would he do if the answer was no?

What would he do with the answer was yes?

What would he do if looking into it drew some suspicion in the first place--

He let out a shaky breath.

"I appreciate it," and he did. It was nice to hear that there was at least something that would not abandon him no matter what happened. And the fact that it was someone? Even better. It wasn't just his angst follow him to the end of the Earth and back-- "Same to you, right? I know most of us want you dead, but."

He swallowed.

"Not me. Glad you're free and thriving."

That was honestly a decent point. Was Albite dense enough to not wonder why Fulgurite was even asking? Or did he trust Fulgurite enough that he wasn't looking for any kind of shady reason? Or did this guy even have access to something that would be a whole list of recruits to the Negaverse? Was that even something at the generals and eternals got access to?

Well, if he could look, if he could find out, he could check to make sure Alois what's the only other name he recognized. And that guy was dead, so that guy wasn't his concern anymore--

If Albite asked for more reasons behind the search though--

She was right ultimately as much as he was enjoying this conversation. They should probably not stick together too long, especially because both their auras were strong enough to call other attention. The last thing he needed was a superior busting him for actually being friendly to a Order knight, yet alone specifically Nectaris of the Moon, the princess-stealing traitor--

He cleared his throat to bury a sniffle as she started to cartwheel off.

He waved, and waited, and did not turn away to go back to his parkour until she was out of sight.
