She was looking over her shoulder to hear the answer from Elaxi, so she was grinning when she herd her say she wanted to look around. Of course the admission that it was too small made her raise a brow. She thought the same thing as her sister. There was no way it was too small for the girl. So that meant she thought it was too small for them. She chuckled and shook her head but moved to put their things down.
Her attention was caught by the extra bunk. For a moment she stood staring at it then turned her head away. "Oo, we can watch the city get smaller as we get farther away." Ali looked at Elaxi with a smile.
She moved toward the door and motioned for her sister and their charge to go through. This time Alizeh would be bringing up the rear. "We might be able to watch them do the rigging too. It's always fascinating to see how the ropes work the sails."

She gave a small nod of her head to Luleta. Elaxi wasn't planning on getting sleepy any time soon and even if she did she wasn't going to make them go back down into the small space. It couldn't be comfortable to have to duck down like that all the time. She watched as Alizeh put their bags down then stared at the other bunk. Elaxi's attention was brought to it too. It made her have a confused look on her face. Was there supposed to be a fourth person with them? If so who was it? Neither of the girls said anything about it though so she left it alone. Instead she looked at Ali when she motioned for them to go through the door. Earlier she had let Luleta lead but since she wanted to get the girls out of the small space she led the way, this time pulling gently on Luleta and watching her face with worry to make sure she wasn't doing something bad.

Elaxi's eagerness made Luleta chuckle lightly, and she gave an encouraging smile. She was going to miss the little bean... but Elaxi's home was in Matori. She did not belong on Yael. Once they got out onto the dock, Luleta paused to stretch out her arms and legs. By Elzira, it felt good to be back out in the open! The crew was scurrying back and forth, but it was clear they weren't in any sort of panic. They knew what their jobs were, and they were efficient with lots of practice under their belts. That was encouraging as well. Ah! There was that Matori fellow. Luleta waved him over. "There are four beds in our room, but only three of us. Are you planning on someone else being there?" She spoke firmly, making her disapproval of the idea clear. The man paused a moment before shaking his head. "No, ma'ams. We never know how many extras we'll have on our trips, so we just have them set up as efficiently as possible. No one else is coming with us this time but you three, so the room's all yours."

Ali was the last of the trio on deck and she brought her arms up and over her head to stretch out as she did. Of course she was watching the crew go about their business too.
When her sister called the man from earlier over and asked about the other bed she snorted a little. She had to admit she was pleased to hear that they weren't sharing with anyone else. It would have just been awkward to deal with in the first place.
Still, she looked at her sister with a grin. "What's wrong Lu, don't wanna share?"

When they were on the deck she was too focused on watching the others move around to notice that Luleta had called the guy from earlier over. At least not until she heard him speaking. It made her jump slightly and she snapped her attention to him as she clung to Luleta's leg. She made sure to stay close to her as she watched the man and listened to what he said. Of course she then understood the interest in the other bed that her companions had now. So she looked up at Luleta about the time that Alizeh asked her about sharing. Elaxi couldn't help the little giggle she gave at the teasing tone.

That was a relief. What would she have done if they'd been forced to share? She probably wouldn't sleep at all! She looked at her sister and huffed softly. "I most certainly do not want to share with some stranger," she said without hesitation. "I would be up all night if that happened, and I wish to be well rested when we arrive to Matori." They would need their wits about them once they stepped onto the foreign soil. Neither of them had experience with the area, and they were also looking for any sign of Elaxi's home. Of course, she heard Elaxi giggling and chuckled lightly to show she wasn't actually upset. They had their little charge to protect as well. There could be no slacking once they reached their destination. While she didn't want to make it the sole focus and stress out the child, she needed to make sure they were as ready as possible as well. "Remind me, Elaxi. What are your parents' names? As many names as you can remember."

Alizeh grinned at her sister. She knew the reason behind not wanting to share. She was the same way. Strangers in her sleeping area made her stay on alert. You never knew what they would do when you closed your eyes or let your guard down.
She looked down at Elaxi as she giggled and reached out to ruffle the girl's purple hair. "Lu was never good at sharing anyways."
When the tiny one was asked about her family names she nodded her head in encouragement. Knowing as much as possible was always good.

She looked at Alizeh with a smile. "Luleta needs good sleep so no sharing." Elaxi liked the nicknames the two had but she didn't think she was allowed to use them so she stuck with their full names. The question about her parent's names and any others she could remember caused her to look down at the floor. "My mother was S-Saeruin. She was killed w-when they took me." Tears threatened to flow over as she recalled what happen. It had given her nightmares for years. It still did sometimes. "M-My father is Ushiwa." A sniffle followed his name. "I have a sister named Kechiri. She looks just like our dad." A pause followed as she drew her brows together. "I have aunts and uncles too. Uncle K-Kynin, Uncle Tethys, and Uncle Th-Thal. Aunt Kina, Aunt H-Honi, Aunt Ein and A-Aunt Terr." As she listed them off she held up a finger for each one. "A-and my cousins are Saei, R-Ryal, and Jiu." She ended up using shortened versions or nicknames for some family members since that was how she'd always known them.

Luleta snorted at Ali's tease. "I only share with those worth sharing with," she huffed playfully. Then she heard Elaxi and let out an amused laugh. "Exactly. No sharing. I will only share that room with you two." Seeing Elaxi remember her family was bittersweet. How awful to see any member of your family killed before your eyes. However, the focus seemed to give the earthling something solid to stand on. The list of names made Luleta pause. Had Elaxi said that many names before? Was she remembering more now that they were getting close, or was it possible that some of the names were part of a traumatized child's imagination? Luleta glanced at Ali, and then gave Elaxi's hand a squeeze. "It sounds like your family is really big. Like our mothers said, we're sure to find someone who knows at least one of them. Can you think of anyone else, or anything else?"

Alizeh brought a hand to her chest. "Oh, I"m worthy." Her other hand wiped away a pretend tear. Teasing her sister was fun.
When she heard Elaxi start naming off names she felt her brows raise. She hadn't heard the little girl list so many people before. So Ali spared a glance at her sister to make sure she wasn't the only one caught off guard by it.
Either way she nodded her head. "Very good. That will help us a lot." She wasn't about to discourage her. If it helped them to find out where the girl lived then it would be good.

She stopped to look up at the two before she nodded her head. "I remember it being big." "I was usually with my mom, dad, and sister though." The smaller family unit was where she spent most of her time. While she knew the others lived close by or would visit often. Elaxi smiled up at them both. "I look like my mom but my spots are from my dad." Then she looked at her bangs and noticed the color was different from her original. "Er, well.. the other people dyed my hair." Her free hand came up to toy with the purple bangs and twirl them around one finger.

Luleta smirked lightly and gave a silent nod. Of anyone out there, Ali was definitely one of the few worth sharing just about anything with. She met her sister's gaze and shrugged. Yeah, it was weird. However, she would try to take it as a positive sign first. "It sounds like a really big family," she agreed. What was that like? Her gaze slid along the violet hair Elaxi was sporting. It looked right to her, but that was the color she was used to. "Do you want to try coloring it closer to its natural color? It shouldn't take too long to grow back out though."

The girl did have a bog family from the sounds of it. Alizeh was almost jealous. She kinda wanted more siblings since she thought she and Luleta would be awesome big sisters. It would just take some convincing. A project for when they returned home perhaps.
Ali looked at the girl's hair and smiled. "We can try and find some dye when we make port. Or you can wait it out." Those were really the only options. Unless Elaxi wanted them to cut her hair off. Not something she would suggest. Her hair was pretty long.
"Come on, you want to watch the city get smaller?" She motioned for Elaxi as she made her way over toward the rail.

The mention of dying her hair back made her think about it. The process to get it purple had been a bit much. Not really something she wanted to waste her time on since she was finally getting closer to home. So she shook her head at their offer. Of course she looked up at Luleta to make sure she wasn't mad at her before she eyed Alizeh. "The city gets smaller?" She was curious about that now. So she lifted up onto her tip toes and did what she could to watch where the other Elaria was moving to. Her gaze flickered between Ali and the city then back again but her hand stayed with Luleta's.

Luleta nodded, confirming she understood Elaxi's choice. It would have been troublesome to find the right shade of dye now that they were on the ship anyway. Plus, they would surely be on the hunt for the girl's family the moment they landed in Matori. There wouldn't be time for dying hair! Mention of watching Yael shrink into the horizon made her stomach clench with both excitement and nerves. With a chuckle, she gave Elaxi's hand a squeeze. "It will vanish from sight, but it will always be there," she assured lightly.
