Her patience was appreciated, but Yonas was still anxious. It was normal when he ran into a stranger, uncertain how they would react to his...unique traits. But she seemed nice, and was a hybrid too, so maybe it wasn't a big deal. Either way, when she asked to move closer he nodded and took a deep breath, willing himself to relax. She seemed harmless enough, and his nerves always made the stutter worse.
"Yonas." He replied with a small smile of his own, "N-nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you Yonas. Even if I did crash your campsite." She offered. Makatza waited another few seconds before she moved to get a bit closer to she could join him and not be so close to the outer edges of the camp. Mostly she wanted to get away from the edges so she couldn't be mistaken as a lurker by someone coming back. "I'm half Elaria, if you know what that is.. but I'm not as mean as my mother's people. I promise." She mistook his hesitance as something to do with herself. It was what she was used to from most people when they first met her. Or her mother for that matter. Not that she blamed them. She and her mother were strange to most who had never ventured out. "Out of curiosity, since I seemed to have wandered where I'm not supposed to. Is your tribelands south of Joria? Or East?" She prayed she hadn't gotten more mixed up that going too far. If she had completely turned herself around then she would have to start using a map.

He wasn't familiar with much outside of his little settlement, but assumed she was one of the Aishan races. Nodding at her explanation, he kept silent as she continued on, before taking a deep breath at her question.
"S-south." He said with a nod, "B-but you are w-welcome." He added quickly, glancing at the sun and realizing the hunting party would be back soon.
"It's j-j-just not s-safe. To t-travel d-during a hunt." He added again, "You m-might accidently get h-hurt."
It wasn't that their hunting party wasn't seasoned, but if a stranger wandered off their paths, it was a higher risk to be hit by a wayward arrow.

Knowing she hadn't gotten completely turned around was good. Of course she still had gone too far from the sounds of it. "Well at least I didn't end up north." Makatza knew she sometimes spaced out when she wandered around in the woods but she didn't think it was that bad. "Well thanks for not sending me away during a hunt." The boy was nice, even if he seemed scared of her at first. Of course he still stuttered so she wondered if that was because of her or if it was just something that he did. "Do you not hunt?" Maybe he was a gatherer type? Or was in charge of cleaning the kills? There was plenty of other jobs so she was curious.

He smiled at her joke, nodding as well before her last question, "N-no...my s-sister does. I am j-just t-t-tagging along."
Suddenly a voice sounded from the brush, and a small group of tribesmen arrived. They paused a moment, glancing between the two before eyeing Yonas.
"Brought along a secret guest, eh Yonny?" The teasing caused the boy to blush, before he shook his head and explained what was happening. They turned toward the girl and offered her a place to rest, the rest of the group arriving and welcoming her as well.
"You're lucky you ran into Yonas. We were hunting pretty close today. You're welcome to join us for a rest back on the tribelands." They added with a warm welcome, the group packing up the camp and preparing to go home.
Yonas, annoyed at the teasing, moved toward Makatza with a smile, nodding once more and offering to lead her back to his home.
