Once they got moving, the breath was stuck in Luleta's chest. She hadn't done anything like this in years! It was exhilarating! She put one hand on the edge of the sled and the other over Quynh's hands at her waist, ready to guide or be moved as needed. She got smacked by more than a few passing leaves, but those did nothing to lessen the fun she was having.
Once they skid to a halt, her own head was spinning wildly. Still, once she realized they'd gotten down in one piece, she burst out laughing with delight. I wasn't a sound she often heard from herself, but she quite enjoyed it. "That was great!" she crowed out before heat rushed to her face. Right, way to sound like a youngling... Panting softly to get her breath back, she carefully pushed herself upright and stepped out onto the solid ground. Despite her embarrassment, she continued to chuckle and held her hand out to her companion. "Still with me there?"

"Ye-yeah." Quynh finally managed as she took Luleta's hand with a grin. "It never hurts to have fun here and there, no matter what." She commented with a chuckle as she adjusted and the world finally stopped spinning around her. What a rush! Her cheeks were flushed from the excitement and she was happy that Luleta had actually gone along with her childish antics.
"But hey." Quynh let go of Luleta's hand so that she could gesture around them. "We made it!" There were at least six tintural roaming near them and she wouldn't be surprised if there were a dozen more further down the valley. "Now to find our shallow shelled friend with that particular plant." Quynh adjusted her belongings, fixing her twisted necklaces and then glanced back towards Luleta. "Should we split up or go together? I think the first target is over there." Past the first two seemed to be a slightly smaller tintural and it looked like a lot of the plants growing along its back were deeper colors like that dark blue. Quynh wasn't completely certain though since the clouds crossing the sky cast some shadows across the valley, darkening her perceptions of what was actually growing on the creature's back.

They actually had made it! Luleta couldn't help another laugh of amusement. "They seem completely unbothered by our sudden arrival." A couple of heavy heads were looking in their direction, but none of them seemed inclined to flee the disturbance. Such strange creatures.
She put her hands on her hips and pondered. "It might be best to stick together. I know exactly what I'm looking for, and can point out if you're about to touch anything particularly dangerous." She swung the pack on her hip around and opened it to rustle through. She pulled out a special bag that was coated with a protective layer to keep anything dangerous from seeping out. "That one looks like a good one to start with." She started for the tintural Quynh had pointed out.
First, she paused to look back and gave her companion an appreciative nod. "Whether or not I find what I came for, thank you for coming with me."

"Can you blame them? Big tough guys just consider us pests almost like a fly buzzing around their backs whenever we gather herbs." Quynh joked lightly even though the creatures could be more wary. It wasn't as if they could just easily run away though with such a heavy shell. She figured that was part of it and the tintural didn't make the best meal, most of her own family opting to use the creatures to harvest plants from their back instead of making some sort of stew from the tough, flavorless meat.
"Sounds like a good plan. I'll be on guard while you gather what you need since you can recognize it far more easily than me." Agreed Quynh as she started tagging along after Luleta only pausing to smile at the appreciative statement. "You're most welcome. It's definitely spared me from a boring afternoon." She beamed towards the Elaria as they approached the tintural, her body tensing just in case they needed a quick reaction because of hidden dangers. Quynh though was hopeful since she rarely had any issues in this little valley, most predators opting to not invade this little haven because it was such a hassle to get into. Still, it wouldn't stop an unruly tintural from snapping or trying to buck at them if they approached the wrong way.
"Once you get your herbs maybe we can go back towards Zinris and get actual food." Quynh chuckled. "I could go for a meal after all this excitement, just one without your dangerous plants please."

It was strange to think of herself as a buzzing pest, but the image brought a snort from her nose. Despite how silly it sounded, it did make sense. Most of the time, there was little reason for a tintural to be concerned about anyone approaching. Any food made from their meat required a lot of extra seasoning to be good. "I think a meal would be a good idea after this, thank you." She smirked and shook her head. "And no poisonous plants, I promise."
Now that she had someone watching her back, Luleta felt herself relax a little more than usual as she focused on the plants. She knelt next to their first tintural and carefully ruffled through the vegetation. When she saw the plant she was looking for, she gently plucked up what she could, leaving enough for it to grow back later. She didn't get much, but it would be enough for her mother to make something with. With the potent plant tucked safely into her bag, she stood and nodded. "That was lucky. Let's go get ourselves something to eat."
