Ah, well the bruises and claw marks wouldn't be comfortable, but it could have been worse. He could explain it away by saying some sort of creature attacked him, though Imri doubted he would like the description of said creature. "Umh, yeah, okay." If he'd let go the other boy would have likely fallen back and cracked his skull against the tree trunk. If anyone saw them like this it was going to be hard enough to explain and having an unconscious earthling would make it worse.
Imri waited until his legs had disentangled themselves before setting him back onto his feet. As soon as he did he released contact all together and stepped back. "I don't have standards; not in that way." And after a healthy pause, Imri added candidly, "...Maybe the next time you try to flirt with an Elarian just don't? It's better for your health. "
